1.26 Known Issues List

Disclaimer: This is not a complete list of all currently tracked issues affecting this build of Overwatch, rather this is a targeted list of some known specific issues with this release.

Patch 1.26


Wrecking Ball

General

  • Aiming the camera straight up while you are in 3rd person view can cause the camera to clip inside of the ball
  • Wrecking Ball can pop up into the air a little after being pinned by Reinhardt’s Charge
  • Wrecking Ball’s portraits in-game and in the Highlights menu are incorrect when wearing an OWL skin
  • Wrecking Ball’s golden guns will not appear properly when wearing an OWL skin

Minefield

  • A friendly Mei’s icewall can destroy placed mines

Piledriver

  • Wrecking Ball’s Piledriver can move a Mei in Cryostasis

Roll

  • Switching to Wrecking Ball’s Ball form can cause your camera to clip through low ceilings

Heroes

Ana

  • Sleep Dart sound effect and Biotic Grenade animation can repeat when reloading immediately after performing the actions

D.Va

  • D.Va cannot send her Ultimate through a Symmetra teleporter without using Boosters

Junkrat

  • There is an extra grenade that appears on the floor at the end of Junkrat’s ‘Juggling’ Emote animation

Mei

  • Enemies can use a Cryo-Frozen Mei to block line of sight of Blizzard

Roadhog

  • Interrupting Roadhog’s Hook as soon as it attaches will cause it to not retract all the way, making the quick melee animation look incorrect

Sombra

  • The “DETECTED” notification can trigger even though she has not been detected by enemies
  • The ability videoes for Stealth and Translocate do not reflect their new updated powers

Symmetra

  • If you are standing against some protruding walls, casting a Sentry Turret may cause it to attach to that wall

Maps

Hanamura

  • The bell does not toll when the first point is captured

Hollywood

  • There is a building in the skyline that is not receiving lighting and appears pitch black

Other

  • On Xbox, a graphical corruption occurs when backing out of the sprays menu in the Hero Gallery
  • Players who are flagged for AFK multiple times in a single match will see an incorrect value in the countdown timer before being kicked
  • Announcer VO for taking and losing the lead in Team Deathmatch doesn’t play if the shift happens due to self inflicted deaths
  • Deathmatch scoreboard is not sorting player hierarchy correctly when a game begins after Waiting for Players
  • Custom Game Elimination games don’t play overtime music if Capture Objective Tiebreaker is disabled and Reveal Heroes is enabled
  • When taking damage and healing at the same time, it’s possible to trigger the “near death” gasping sound effect repeatedly
  • The “Searching for Game” UI can display for a few moments after leaving a game.
  • When you find a “Vs A.I.” match you are briefly shown the difficulty select screen again before entering the match

Patch 1.25


Endorsements and LFG

  • If you have the Endorsement tray open while searching for a match, it will automatically close once you’ve found a game and finished loading in.

Symmetra

  • Symmetra can place her Teleporter off the edge of the map in Practice Range, causing her to die instantly when ported.
  • Torbjorn’s Turret behaves incorrectly when on a moving platform and teleported by Symmetra’s Teleporter.

Heroes

Doomfist

  • Getting killed by Doomfist’s Rocket Punch when there is nothing around you causes your ragdoll to behave incorrectly.
  • Doomfist’s Rocket Punch doesn’t damage Junkrat’s Concussion Mine.

Torbjorn

  • Torbjorn’s Turret destroys itself when placed too close to a wall.

Maps

Eichenwalde

  • Sometimes Defender AI bots in an Eichenwalde Custom Game will attempt to go through an inaccessible door.

Other

General

  • Torbjorn bot behaves oddly if Symmetra places a Teleporter where he was about to place his Turret.
  • Hitting a breakable item with your melee attack, just outside of range, will cause the breakable SFX to play but the item will be intact.

HEROES

Ana

  • Heroes hit by Sleep Dart may have animation issues when hit by other abilities
  • Shooting an ally that’s at full health counts as a miss

Brigitte

  • There are inconsistent results when using Shield Bash against a Charging Reinhardt

Doomfist

  • Rocket Punch does not knock back D.va’s mech as it is self-destructing

Hanzo

  • Sonic Arrow model disappears when it destroys some breakables

Junkrat

  • Some of his bombs spin in his vest holster while viewing skins in the Hero Gallery

Mei

  • The handle on top of Snowball’s head doesn’t react to physics properly in the Hero Gallery

Mercy

  • Emoting with her gun equipped causes her to animate as if she’s holding her staff before correcting herself to her gun pose

Moira

  • Switching quickly between healing and damaging beams can cause the animation to play from teh wrong hand
  • Biotic Grasp can still briefly do damage after Moira is killed
  • Biotic Orb does not correctly bounce off of moving platforms
  • Biotic Orb will travel directly through Mei’s Cryo-Freeze instead of bouncing off
  • Biotic Orb will continue attempting to heal D.Va’s mech when it reaches zero health and is animating being destroyed
  • Healing tendrils will attach directly to invisible heroes like stealthed Sombra and a recalling Tracer
  • Sometimes Coalescence’s beam is invisible in highlights/POTG if theOTG if the clip captures it after the ultimate has started

Tracer

  • Pulse Bomb can become stuck on the wrong side of a Reinhardt or Brigitte barrier if the Reinhardt or Brigitte is moving backwards and forwards when it’s thrown

MAPS

Eichenwalde

  • Candelabras lose texture and lighting when hit

Junkertown

  • Reinhardt’s Earthshatter does not effect targets standing on the moving turbine blade near the final point

Nepal

  • Several health packs on the map are slightly out of place

Oasis

  • There is a visible occluder in the City Center map

Petra

  • D.Va’s Self Destruct can destroy the breakable floor through walls

Rialto

  • There are no SFX or VFX when you melee the payload
  • Shorter heroes can interact with the mannequins in the Caresini shop

OTHER ISSUES

General

  • If a player is invited to a game that has all player and spectating slots full, they do not receive an error that they cannot join the game
  • The green arrows indicating you performed above you career average do not display correctly when performing better or worse than your average
  • Certain Ultra graphics video settings can cause stuttering

Custom Game Browser

  • The Game Browser does not provide any indication that AI Bots will not function in Elimination and CTF game modes
  • Disabling Primary fire for D.Va turns off the mechs Fusion Cannons, and her Pistol
  • The ammo counter displayed on some hero weapons may not function correctly if the Ammunition Clip Size Scalar is modified
  • Ultimates will re-enable weapons that have their primary fire disabled for the duration of the Ultimate

Highlights

  • If you have the ESC menu up as the victory lineup transitions into the Play of the Game, the hero model will not appear in the highlight intro
  • When viewing recorded highlights using the in game video player, footage has current video settings applied over video settings at time of recording (causing footage to appear twice as dark or bright

Sound & VO

  • Dolby Atmos can sometimes cut off sounds coming from below the player
  • Explosions sometimes play in the rear speakers for surround sound systems
