Mercy takes some skill, but not THAT much skill, she’s definitely harder to play than Moira.

According to several pro level players, Mercy is one of the absolute most difficult characters to play at maximum value.
Don’t confuse a character being easy to use at the skill floor with them being easy to use at all levels of play.

When using valk you have to decide whether someone will be okay without healing so that everyone else can get damage boost. You also still have to think about positioning. Just because you’re harder to kill, doesn’t mean you’re impossible to kill. And with res, the decision making is in the moments leading up to it.
Low skill floor =/= Low skill cieling
