Why do people act like it’s illegal to counter in QP? I mean it’s one thing if they immediately counter you before you even pose an issue, that’s odd but if ur destroying the lobby why wouldn’t they counter?? Just because it’s QP doenst mean people want to sit there and get demolished by someone on the enemy just so they can play who they want.

It’s almost like they don’t think you should be trying to win. It’s a weird take honestly. Just because it’s QP doesn’t mean I’m not going to swap heroes whenever I want or counterswap if I want. It’s my time and I’m doing it to have fun and win. People are weird.

Its a cope mechanism OP . Based on the classic premise that if you counter swap , you are a “tryhard” and that enables their coping:
- If they win after you swap : “lol noob, swapping doesn’t get you skill”
- If they lose after you swap : “Imagine being a tryhard in QP lol”
Just report anyone who doesn’t try to win as sabotage. It gets cleaner eventually.

I get annoyed most when I be the gentleman and swap to mirror if they are countering me then they immediately swap to the counter of the hero they were on (that I am now on).
It just shows they’re not interested in winning by skill but rather totally reliant on cheesing it with counters only.
I’ve had games where they swap to counter, I swap to mirror, they swap again to counter and so on for like 4 heroes. Then if they win it’s frustrating because none of it was due to their skill at anything but countering.
The funny thing is if I call them out on it they almost always say (or someone on their team does) “you swapped first” or “you started it” even though I swapped to mirror because they countered me out of spawn.

I usually don’t care if people feel like playing counterwatch (I mean I do, but it’s part of the game), if you have played long enough to master a lot of heroes then good for you.
But the Zarya swap though. That triggers me for some reason. It just feels rude.

Honestly, I report every player on the enemy team who doesn’t stand still and let me shoot them in the head. Bunch of sweaty try hard losers.

I believe that if you swap to Zarya after one tank death you know exactly what you’re doing and why you’re receiving complaints/harassment. It is undeniably cringe and it’s not fun having a chill experience ruined like that

Switching heroes to counter the enemy hero picks is a core gameplay element of Overwatch since day 1. If they are complaining about it then they are playing the wrong game.

Sadly, take a look at a lot of threads lately. “Countering is toxic” “Countering is lame” etc etc
I play a lot of D.Va and every single game inevitably ends against Zarya. Half the time I’m on defense the swap happens before the first fight even starts. I get swapping to counter, especially tanks that basically mandate it like Wreckinball, but come on, at least give the matchup a try.

Cause why are they sweaty tryhards in QP? You wanna do that go play comp, i cant even play my fav hero in qp cause there is always a damn zarya counterswap every god damn time and im tired of it, so yeah i will report any and all counterswappers in the game till we get rid of this awful 5v5 mode

I find it funny when I get counterswapped I say nothing, but I then counterswap back and I’m the villain for some reason. I didn’t start it…
