Instead of pretending like you know, now you can actually know.
Data is from Overbuff for S2 of OW2 as of 12/28/22 for Comp/PC All Tiers Bronze thru GM.
Notably, these numbers are surprisingly very consistent for each ult regardless of Tier, within a max .3 margin, but usually a much closer margin. For example, even Sojournâs Overclock at 2.57 Kills/10min overall, is at 2.60 in Bronze and 2.62 in GM.
Unsurprising Spoiler: Ramattra and Kiriko need nerfs to their ults.

no data***
*Junk Rat / Rip Tire - No data available for OW S2, so I used the QP OW2 value instead.
**D.Va / Self-Destruct & Call Mech - Combined would maker her ult the 2nd deadliest overall with an accumulative total of 4.80 Kills/10mins.
***For some reason, Minefield data isnât available on Overbuff.
Do they actually kill them all the way through, or do they just tickle the enemy for 1 HP but take full credit for the kill once they get actually killed by something else?
I would assume the latter, since thatâs how the regular Elimination stat works. Thatâs also probably why Kitsune Rush is so high: You buff 3 allies, all of them hit a single enemy and thatâs 3 eliminations right there.
Mind you, Iâm not sure how âfinishedâ Overbuffâs switch to OW2 is yet, so take these with a grain of salt.
Good question. My take is, on Overbuff, the terms âKillsâ and âAssistsâ are used, which, indicates to me that Kills are final blows, but I canât be certain.
this is why i dont trust overbuff, that number seems way off. like wayyyyyyyyyy offffff.
also kills per 10 min is meaningless. as we dont have ult charge rate. basically what is the ults used per 10 min. then take that and you will get kills per ult, which actually means something.
Well, I canât say whether itâs accurate or not. Itâs possible Overbuff is off, sure. But on the other hand, what people say things seem usually tends to be a much less reliable measure in my experience.
Iâm following what youâre saying, but not following your logic. Ult charge rate is sort of irrelevant. One ult might be used only once per 10mins and take more ult charge to obtain, while another might be used twice per 10mins with less ult charge, but either way, this chart is comparing the overall kills each ult produces per 10min, regardless of how often it was used or what the charge rate is. On average Ult X will produce Y kills per 10 mins.
You mean no one plays her often? I lower eloes she is played a ton.
I mean no one plays her often, yes. Sheâs not really a good pick with Sojourn lurking out there, because Sojourn can just dome her out of nowhere for free like Widow.
Also, barrage tends to go something like âJUST-AAAUGHâ, so I doubt the validity of claiming it gets 4 kills/10 if thereâs any meaningful play time to those stats.
first please work on this sentence, i think i get your meaning but im not sure.
second yah i agree what people say often is very unreliable.
the ults used per 10 is an intermediary. basically if we divide ult kills per 10 by ults used per 10 we get ult kills per ult. the per 10s cancel out. and ult kills per ult is more useful as it is something you can actually easily compare to your performance. did i have an average ult or above average ult.
also the difference between ult charge rates is also negated as we are kills per single use. and as such dont have to consider charge time.
but let me put it this way. reaper could in theory get 1 ult in 10 min and get 4 kills with it, and it would be the same as reaper getting 4 ults in 10 min and getting 1 kill with each. by the chart they are the same. even though we know they are not. the number of ults per 10 matter as they tell us how many kills should we expect per use and how many ults per game. which should i expect 4 kills per ult? 1? 2.5? you see i dont get a useful feedback on whether what i do with the ult is good or not. hence the number bieng less useful.
Pharah does get her ult pretty fast and while she has a tendency to die during it, it also is very easy to secure at least one or two kills due to the sheer dps.
77 hours of competitive viewable now that theyâve erased a lot of past data in game. In those 77 hours over the past 4 seasons and the current season, my average barrage kills are:
Also I am high gold/low plat so thereâs no lack of hitscans trying to kill me. Anyone who plays a lot of Pharah knows you never barrage unless itâs an ambush barrage:
So, there you go
Also man i need to upload some new clips, those are so old I still had super low sensitivity and it feels painfully slow to watch myself aim haha.
Sorry, yeah, delete the word âthingsâ from that sentence.
Ok, sure, I agree that knowing how many times an ult is used per 10mins would be a helpful statistic. And, number of kills per ult would also be a useful statistic. But thatâs just not what this chart is comparing. This chart is simply comparing the overall kill value each heroâs ult brings to the table.
It stems from someone trying to tell me that Bob is â100% absolutely OP and needs a nerfâ, something Iâve heard several times from, often, Doom or Reaper mains. And me saying, number donât lie, hereâs the data. So in other words, this chart helps get a birdseye view of which ults can be considered OP compared to others.
Also, the stats you mentioned/suggested arenât available on Overbuff⌠or anywhere at all as far as I know. Iâm sure Blizzard tracks them though.
Thatâs what I should do, just make a montage of nothing but me solo barraging 76/Cree/Ashe. Widow I like to just drop down on and kill point blank then teabag her lmao.
Nope. They just have the typical Moira effect on them: long reach and everything that they touch will become their assists. No matter if they kill them now or later/after the ult is over.
