Your most played heroes and why?

  • 1: Alarak

You can thank CaiusCain for that, if I’m being totally honest. I didn’t play him much before I saw the enthusiasm for him on the forums. Between his amazing voice actor, flashy combo, and crazy burst, he became my most played all too quickly

  • 2: Brightwing

It all started when I was tired of playing Malfurion as my main healer, and then wondered what the fuss was about Brightwing. Before I played her, I thought she was the creepiest and weirdest character ever, and couldn’t understand why people played her or even what she did.

So I hopped into my first game (I still remember it being on Braxxis), and was almost instantaneously enchanted; Global presence, on demand hard CC, easy healing, and most importantly, this character is actually adorable. Definitely a keeper for a long time, and my favorite Hero in the game.

(I forgot to add that Monkey Brightwing is my least favorite skin in the game by far. If you are a frequent user, beware; I’ll certainly want to take you down if I see it.)

  • 3: Illidan

This character was my go-to DPS for a very long time; He was flashy, could get around, and could take create map pressure at will. It’s always fun to jump in cause mayhem, providing they don’t have too much CC.

Unfortunately, CC is the main reason I don’t play him nearly as much now. More times than not, especially in QM, they always have at least 1 or more counters to Illidan; be it CC, blinds, root, or what have you.

  • 4: Diablo

I’ll be honest, I don’t have as much emotional attachment to this character as say, Brightwing, but he’s still really fun. A solid tank with some pretty awesome gameplay, that is ramming your enemies into the wall as hard as possible, and then suplexing their broken body for your team to feast on. Tank is the main role I play, and Diablo really shines in the right situations.

  • Last but certainly not least, we have: Garrosh

Out of all the characters to join the game in the time I’ve played, Garrosh has to be the one I was most hyped for. I had originally came from WoW, so having a familiar face join was really cool.

With that being said, I didn’t play him much at all when he launched; but that was before I really started delving into different tanks and their playstyles.

I started trying Garrosh after Q received a stun and an animation overhaul, and got so much glee out of baiting people in, and then tossing them miles away. Because of this, I often play really recklessly as him with a high-risk high-reward sort of mentality. This is obviously met with varying results, so I am still working on that.
Though I would still consider him my best tank.
