Murky tells me i didn’t help him. Whatever went on was off the place i was looking at. Then he called me retarded and i blocked him. At the end of the game Jaina told me to enjoy my report. I don’t know why.
Most of the team was 2-3 dead at all times. On my uptime i would try to lane or get mercs. On many occasions, butcher would appear, mostly off my vision range, stun me and kill me on like 2-3 hits.
Jaina dies about 14 times. I must have died about 8. The way she talked the report mattered. Does it? Does stuff like that add up to a suspension? What about murky talking while i blocked him? Does it even matter all the horrible things he must have said?
Does any of this report system even work? What is intended here?

oh, you were the person in general chat saying something about Jaina reporting you with 2x the deaths an hour or two ago.
reports… are magical things that some people swear unjustly target them, and others like me are still waiting for their deserved mutes.
I don’t have a habit of putting down other people. I would report someone beating down repeatedly on someone, more quickly on my own self. As far as non-participation it really has to be obvious. Stitches walking INTO a 1 vs 5 without dealing any dmg. There’s also the possibility we’re 10-30 and the game is just asking to die…
As far as reporting ever doing anything, i guess someone would have to be chronically reported or something. Mostly for language.
in that case you are likely safe from any report. Unless it is mass report. (two is not mass).

Welcome to the arbitrary world of HoTs reporting. What is going on, is - blizzard decided to clean up a toxic community by giving the toxic community the power to report you for anything they feel like.
Here’s what to do. Don’t type anything. Any player you don’t like, or don’t like playing with, immediately report them for abusive chat. Do not try to improve your team, or communicate, just report and move to the next game.

Honestly I don’t know if all the trolls came out from under their bridges last night, but I had some AWFUL team mates in unranked.
Example : playing spiders, Varian only possible tank (I was an early Fenix pick) 3 other squishies. Varian takes twin blades of course. Enemy team gets first spiders. I manage to collect 25 gems. Want to hand in, but enemy team have 2 warriors and are defending the hand in. I ping to defend it. Team all spread out, some of them die, i manage to save their gems, now I have 40 gems, enemy team still defending both hand ins. I ping defend it, trying to tell them I need them to defend me so I can hand in. Our Varian unable to push in to take the hand in, because he’s a twin blade noob. Team cursing me out for not handing i, despite not being able to get to the hand in past the two enemy warriors. Enemy team have Hanzo and are scouting the hand ins with sonic arrows, ready to pounce on me.
Enemy team get another hand in, push us back into our base, I finally die defending the core. Team abuse me. GG bad fenix, throwing, reported.
Wtf. NO TANK VS 2 WARRIORS, CAN’T EVEN DEFEND OUR FORTS LET ALONE TAKE CONTROL OF THE OBJ TO HAND IN.

Well, this is certainly related to my point. Anyone who cares about winning in their games, is reported and eventualy punished, and taught not to comment.
That is the sad state of HoTs reporting.
