Waiting for game mode download to complete

anyone been able to fix this issue?

  • Closing the game and opening again doesn’t work
  • Clearing app data doesn’t work
  • Running repair doesn’t work
  • Problem persists even with firewall turned off
  • Reinstalling battle.net client doesn’t work
  • Reinstalling the game doesn’t work
  • Leaving the game open so it can ‘download’, whatever it is trying to download, doesn’t work

literally tired everything and more from your link, still not working.

Do you have a virus scanner installed by chance? If so, try disabling that or temporarily removing it as it could be blocking Heroes.

Disabling Security Applications

You can also try a Selective Startup to help eliminate any programs that could be conflicting with Heroes.

Closing Background Applications

I’ve found a solution, use a VPN and launch game let it do it’s thing until it’s let’s you press play and then exit and close VPN if you’d like and relaunch! Works for me and the problem for me is issues with my ISP and the ports to blizzard.
