Version Mismatch Error as of today

As of tonight I’m getting a version mismatch error trying to log into HOTS. I’ve been running it on this iMac for years with zero issues. Played it yesterday without a problem. I tried running the game repair, didn’t fix. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the game completely, didn’t fix. I tried selecting Europe and Asia to log into, same error.

Any other ideas to get the game working again?!

Hey I just restarted my PC and it installed an update, and downloaded game data and then it worked. I googled the issue and prior posts throughout the years and they say a pc restart seems to fix it.

If it doesn’t work then may the small indie company Blizz have mercy on you
