HP and self-healing are too much. I’d start by nerfing his HP by 15% and also reduce his self-healing by the same.

What this game needs is more talents to work like kael q or falstad q. Sure, you can stack until you’re OP 1vs5, but if you get killed, you have to lose stacks. You also get some checkpoints every now and then, so it’s not like alarak losing all his potential after a death.

Thrall is good, but not OP unless you let him stack blue lightning uncontested and the game goes late. If any bruiser is OP right now it’s for sure hogger who just wins like every lane matchup, amazing self sustain + no mana, and clears camps ridiculously fast

Until now i have never faced a thrall op enought to defeat my dehaka in a lane, so meh

Absolutely not. These are almost as bad as Mythic Quests. Just look at ZJ. It feels bad for everyone.
He is OP exactly because you cannot stop him from stacking. These quests are fundamentally broken.
He requires both skill and effort to play. Thrall does not.

They stopped people from dying for early stacks. It was a crappy strategy… . And also just farming to late game then insta winning is only fun for the one farming.
But yea, I checked heroes profile, all his talents are in such a poor spot (in QM). I’ve never seen such a tragedy before.
I blame the ults, mostly. They’re both terribly underwhelming.
It also sucks to lane as ZJ…and you end up laning too often.
He’s really not that bad lol. I have yet to meet any thrall when I have to solo lane him. Most of them try to suicide and use the self heal thinking they’ll live. That’s why you move away from mobs when trading so his lightning either hits only mobs or hits just you.
Crash lightining is a better talent than echoes IMO.
If I play QM by myself, I usually always take a hero that can reduce healing or something to pacify him.
Can stun and displace and is also ungankable
idk in what world thrall is ungankable. 30% movespeed on windfury is decent for getting away but compared to other bruisers like dehaka/leoric/hogger i would say he is easier to gank overall unless you walk straight into his root.
