Since the previous Salt Mountain thread was shutdown, allow me to introduce the, hopefully, proper succesor: The Salt Vaults.

As previously, this is a thread for all of us to vent. From vs A.I scrubs such as myself all the way up to Grand Masters that had a rough match. Everyone is welcomeā€¦so long as they do not break the rules.

This is not a loophole for forum rules. Posting screenshots of teammates during a match seems to be fine, but out right writing out profile names is considered naming and shaming which will result in disciplinary action from the mods and potential shutting down of this thread like all the previous ones because people thought they were above the forum rules; none of us are.

This is a vent thread, not a critique thread, meant for everyone that wishes to post to vent as their heartā€™s content without getting ridiculed by fellow forum members. This is not meant as a thread seeking advice or wisdom. It is meant to be a thread for people to vent their frustrations over suffering through an awful match, or several, or due to some other event concerning the game that frustrated them such as disconnects and whatnot.

Since I am the OP, allow me to start:

Sgt. Hammersā€¦

Either the game is boring, or they become a liability. I got matched with all Elite A.I but myself set at Adept. Bot team had the right heroes to turn Hammer into scrapā€¦againā€¦and againā€¦and againā€¦

It wasnā€™t a low level Hammer either. They had the level 100+ taunt, yet they had the spacial awareness of a doorknob. They did the same tactics that every single Hammer I met previously carried out; rushed down middle, used their knockback on minions, then got deleted by the enemy bot team.

If there is one hero I could choose to remove from the roster, it would be Sgt. Hammer.

Yes, for some, I had wrote a thread like this previously, but I didnā€™t feel I did such a heritage thread justice, so I deleted it. Hopefully this one is structured far better than my previous attempt.

I hate hero of the angry clouds so much, I am super salty as I proceed into the salt mines/vaults/chambers (soon).

Anyways, I hate that bird, idk what the dwarf is called I hate the griffon so much can we just nuke him next patch please.

I started a game, and accidentally ended up in vs A.I., and Troubled was there :slight_smile:

The first one lasted a really long time. Second one was also there for over a year. Itā€™s a win in my book. I donā€™t think giving up is ever the solution.

I have to stop flexing into healer in ranked.

The IQ of my teammates the moment I pick a healer seems to drop to below 70 and I see some of the most egregious plays of all time. Iā€™ve seriously won no-healer games more often in ranked at this point than winning games where I pick healer as asked by my draft chat. Maybe itā€™s some sort of skill issue but healer used to be my highest WR role back in the day so Iā€™m just unsure.

Not to mention, not being able to do anything about camp timers or soak just sucks in general. And no, BW is basically a perma-ban at my rank atm.

Iā€™ll keep making them if I have to just for those who can read, and who do not suffer from Main Character Syndrome, can vent their frustrations.

I might even go as far as make an alt account specifically geared towards ensuring Salt threads exist so long as I have a pulse.

On topic, yesterday I was matched with a KTZ. I didnā€™t think much of itā€¦until they started whining they couldnā€™t do much with our team composition.

ā€¦it was all Adetp A.I.

So since they stirred a fire under me backside, I started paying attention to themā€¦they let chains expire. Threw out Frost Nova willy-nilly, and werenā€™t spamming Death and Decay off cooldown against minion waves when no heroes were present, where it is usually a good idea to save it until finishing a combo to get a bit more oomph.

They didnā€™t like me at the end of the matchā€¦even though I stated I had grinded 151, at the time, levels of insanity with KTZ.

The match lasted until level 20 for bothā€¦and they got 16 stacks.

I wouldnā€™t have cared if they didnā€™t start complaining about team comp in the A.I ballpit. Kelā€™Thuzad requires A LOT of practice to get good at and is the only hero I personally feel you need to do a few matches to get the rust off after some time away to get back into the swing of things.

Try Rehgar. You can clear, take camps, and cleanse out of position potatoes.

Man, this is just about the worse comp I could think of. Worse Tank, worse Bruiser, and the gameā€™s two worse DPS, plus a healer that canā€™t do anything against the enemy comp when they go for him. And I canā€™t peel :frowning:

The game after that I was Leoric and got Nova and Azmodan as dpsā€¦

my track record with malfurion players is getting worse and worse. itā€™s always

ā€twilight dream against deathwingā€
ā€uh uh my healing is good though!!1ā€ is failing to outheal a drafted tank uther

not to mention they are almost always the ones who way too prematurely back out of a fight, stranding their teammates to die while saying ā€œong stop feedingā€ while they are unnecessarily making every fight a 4v5.

Med (225 levels) as Gazlowe on Cursed Hollow. Went top against Hammer. Died. Returned to the lane.

The event started. We all gathered to contest. The genius stayed at top and after 2 minutes wrote ā€˜GG. Team of idiots. Morales free farming. AFKā€˜. Sure, clown. We were all just drinking tea and exchanging anecdotes while you, THE ONLY ONE, was carrying the team. Against MORALES free farming.

What do you think our healer is doing while weā€™re sweating through a hopeless 4v5 over the objective?
Yeah ā€” taking a completely useless camp on the opposite side of the damn map.
And our Stitches? Another great example. Not once, not twice, but basically every single time I dropped a bomb under an enemy, he ā€œsavedā€ them with his hook. And when I chase after him after he finally grabs someone, he runs away from me ā€” so I throw a bomb in front of him, and guess what? He spits the enemy out behind itā€¦
Tell me, how the hell am I supposed to climb out of Bronze with teammates like this.

Pick Kharazim.

Pick Elite.

Pick all the healing talentsā€¦except palm.

Spend 90% of the match away from teammates taking merc camps or just tanking tower/fort shots.

Spam Seven-Sided Strike off cooldown; on mercs, minions, buildings, a bot that takes a step or two to leave the circle.

Do not save teammates.

just got stomped 21 kills - 0 kills in a 13 minute match against a sweaty af 5 stack whose avg winrate was 80%.

start reporting these stacks for Cheating/botting/hacking. cause thats what this is. Abuse. Aint nobody wanna sit through s$%t games like that.
