SWap a talent to make them OP

So I can’t find the original thread of this if it existed so here we go

In this game you have to give any hero a talent from another heroes talent tree that would make them OVerpowered as all heck,
The catch is that the talent has to replace whatever the hero would normally take on that tier

So here’s mine
Zul’jin gets a new Level 13 from Qhira, the Hunted
For those who don’t know the Hunted increases Auto attack damage by 25% for each consecutive attack on the same target stacking up to 100% resetting after 6 seconds or when a new target is hit

It would sadly have to replace Zul’jins mobility/CC tools but… WE’RE DOUBLING ZUL’JINS OUTPUT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!

I’m not sure I’m doing this correctly, but suppose I replaced Tracer’s level 7 talents with Tyrande’s Moonlit Arrows talent.

Obviously, Tracer doesn’t have Light of Elune on her Q, but the ability she does have is Blink. So -.25 second to the cooldown of Blink for every single auto attack.

THAT’SA LOTTA BLINKS.

Give whitemane Xul’s bone spear at 16. Now she has a reliable attack that actually does damage and the world will know true healing. Plus, E build doesn’t have a super great talent at 16 anyway so I’m not losing much by not taking anything else. C:

Hard mode: make it a talent in the first 3 tiers
God mode: the swapped talents make both heroes OP not like I can pull that off

Replacing anything or just as an additional ability?
I assume it’d replace charge if anything, so he’d be slightly less braindead but then you’d have to actually land hooks.
If you really wanted to see something crazy then give him Power Slide and see what happens.

And here I was thinking I coudln’t possibly think of anything more horrifying then Doubling zul’jins damage for no reason

THe talent has to replace whatever would be taken at that tier

Manticore for tychus at lv 16, every 3 AA’s does 5% additional max health damage against the same hero, what gets replaced is EITHER 60% additional Q damage, frag grenade 5% extra hp damage with CDR, or 1% per auto

so the math of this is that instead of 1% per auto tychus will have an average of 1.66 (repeating) average per auto that stacks with minigun

Heres some more that would be insane

Lucio with lightwell. Anduins ult already just about resets the cooldown, just imagine lucio.

Xul with Hungering Cold
“Enemies that are Rooted take an additional 55 damage each time they are damaged by Xul.”

Power of Icecrown would be pretty good for blaze who already does decent damage and would probably stack this instantly with out even trying. Also this would buff his self healing.
(Stunning, Rooting, or Slowing a Hero grants 6% Spell Power for 10 seconds, stacking up to 5 times.)

Insert mage here with icy veins or ZJ’s net sounds really strong.

Azmodan could give anyone a dash.

Lt. Morales with Holy Shock lol. Would be even better if she gained energy back doing this.

% damage on any overwatch hero sounds pretty nasty too
And Illidan’s Fiery Brand is a stronger version of that, sitting at 7% on each 3rd
Spectral Leech does 2.5% per hit, adding up to 7.5% and healing you for double the entire time.
Bladed Momentum could get rid of your cooldowns.

Just too much abuse on fast AA talents.

Except Xul needs every talent he can get to get into range and keep fighting. Hungering Cold is cute for Decay procs and while Xul can swing his scythe very fast in most cases if he’s allowed to just keep swinging he’s already winning the fight.

I always forget it’s a “talent” since it’s basically mandatory. Jaina is Icy Veins: the Hero.

Now that I think about it Divine Fortress would be great on a lot of different heroes, namely ranged and fast attackers.
Also looking at a lot niche talents I never bothered with before:
Shard of Hate: Makes auto attacks splash. Even if it doesn’t proc Lord of Hatred it could still be really nasty on a lot of heroes.
Cannoneer / Glass Cannon from Li-Ming could do some wonky things on the right heroes.

If you made Hungry Bear count for the hero then any tank healing 4.5% HP on auto could go a long way, but that’s stretching it.

Its not just the fast AAs but every time a skeleton attacks and explodes on death or each time posion nova ticks or skeleton mages attack, Hungering cold would proc. Combined with Jailors at 4, I think you could do alot of damage.

(Bone Prison spawns 2 Skeletal Warriors These do not count toward Xul’s Raise Skeleton maximum.

❢ Quest: Spawn 80 Skeletal Warriors.

❢ Reward: While fixating on an enemy, Skeletal Warriors gain 25% Movement and Attack Speed.)

Alarak’s Mocking Strikes on Lucio. (Basic Attacks against Heroes reduce the cooldown of Alarak’s Basic Abilities by 1.5 seconds. This bonus is doubled against enemy Heroes who are Stunned, Silenced, Slowed or Rooted.)
Combine it with Reverse Amp and he’s permanently slowing enemies by 20% and moving at 130% while booping every seconds.

Artanis gets Sonya’s Warpaint (30% of AA damage is returned as health). Replaces reactive parry.

can you imagine him with AA self healing AND his shield? Unless you blind or stun him he’ll be an unholy abomination-- he could easily facetank a butcher with brand on him and win the facetank confrontation so long as the butcher wasn’t too fed.
Granted, he’d be giving up his stacking quest for it, so it would at least prevent it from spiraling into insanity that way.

That’s already the game plan for killing him tho :thinking:
Healing would make him really beefy but heal on AA that competes with PoA would be kinda limited.
Would be great for tanky artanis but he’d still have light damage for a bruiser. A meat wall is a meat wall.

I think Shard of Hate (at 7) would be a lot stronger, assuming the splash damage procs shield CDR for each target hit. It would give him some insane AoE burst too, whether it’s PvE with AO or PvP with PoA.

The only reason I don’t likei that is cus you ahve to forgo either stacking quest or Amateur Opponent

that said his level 7s are less important so 20% to get Qhira’s Siphoning Link passive has better synnergy

Fiery brand on any of tracers level 16’s, multiple instances of the 7% dmg per clip and she can do it while moving

How 'bout both?

Kharazim - Any level 1

Every 3rd Basic Attack [does something] and gives 25% increased Move Speed for 2.5 seconds.

Tracer - One-Two Punch

Reduce the cooldown of Melee by 1 second and it gains an additional charge.

Melee is in the same spot as Breath of Heaven, so Kharazim can get more healing out and Tracer can either heal, damage, or reduce cooldowns.

Tracer lvl 1 - Gets Protector of Aiur from Artanis. (Gain 0,1% aa dmg per aa against Heroes, gain +1% per takedown).

I love stacks, that’s all.
