I have been trying to fix this for more than 2 weeks and nothing works. HOTS is updated however when i press play i get that 137mb update and it never loads. i tried disabling my antivirus, i used several connection types, WIFI, 4G, LAN. nothing works.
the only thing changed at my laptop is upgrading to windows 11 but not sure if that’s the cause.
that has every 2nd player i guess, endless patching, including mini lags ingame, for me it started month ago and long till now, they are supposedly making permanent fix, but still nothing
For me partly worked taking ownership of the “Heroes of the Storm” subfolder + Full Control, endless patching + error windows fade away, maybe getting 1 mini freez per game but this may be fix by only Blizz… hopefully.

i think i got the solution for the “Update-Loop” Problem.
When the Update start, just wait a short moment and then cancel the process.
Then close “Battle.net” and open it again.
Since i did this action, the update never shown up again.
