In sc2 the game load via SSD faster then the login to but you dont get the disconnect.

It sounds like the game is failing to launch properly. I would recommend try troubleshooting with the steps below before retesting the game again:
Reset the game’s settings by following the steps Here.
Clear your Blizzard app cache by following the steps Here.
If you have any third party anti-virus such as Avast/AVG or other, make sure to find it’s Exclusion’s settings. Put the Blizzard app and Heroes of the Storm on this list to avoid conflicts.
Retest! If the issue continues please run a WinMTR to host IP: 24.105.30.129 for 10 minutes and post the results back here! Thank you.
