I did a search in the forum. Looks like somebody reported this 12 days ago but it’s still happening. I don’t always get the rare chests promised me when completing a lap in the special event. I wasn’t paying attention the first time around but it felt like I missed out on a chest. I ignored it. The second time it happened, I finished 3 stickers and completed a lap on the same turn. I opened a regular chest but no rare chest was waiting for me. The third time around I completed a lap and no rare chest. I can confirm that I have received rare chests from completing some laps. It seems random that I when I don’t.

I came here to report the exact same thing. I tried reconnecting in case it was a client-side bug or smt, but still no luck. Any solutions, blizz?
2 years later and the same issue. looks like they dont plan on fixing this bug, shame, 20 rare chests down the drain
