Hello heroes,
I went on forum search after my game started giving me regular lag spikes / frame drops during games, to notice that some people had experienced the issue as well. First lag spikes appeared 1-2 days before this Caldeum Acropolis patch. After updating my graphics drivers (Nvidia), Windows 10, scanning and repairing the game multiple times and reinstalling, I encountered a new issue on top the previous one:
After I launch the game, I noticed that my cursor in-game isn’t centered with the one I see on my screen. In other words, the game highlights a different hero on hero select from where the cursor actually is. I have imgur screenshot and a video clip available to explain the issue in detail.
I tried switching monitor settings as well, which didn’t have any effect on the matter. Heroes seems to be the only game that does this.
Computer specs:
CPU:AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Ram: 16 GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB
Running out of ideas… Any thoughts?
Update: Restoring game settings from the Bnet launcher fixed the 2nd issue, testing a game if the frame drops are still active.
