Salt Mines - Deposit all your anger here!

50 minutes warhead junction, both teams level 30, pain.

We were SO much ahead because of our azmo splitpushing getting everything on the map, then we were level 20 enemy level 18, they had no keeps but azmo kept going alone instead of going as 5 and win. So enemy just won in the end cause you can’t end 4 v 5 ever.

Ah yeah, when the game ended he called us the worst things in the history of humanity and said it was all our fault cause he’s just a god player.

And that’s why my hanzo winrate is SO bad. Actually playing extremely well for the last 6-7 matches with him and still losing only because of these trolls/afks (:

I don’t handle being put in situations where I’m expected to do as told and then suddenly forced to make a choice for myself to determine the outcome of something. It seems like a lot of times this is how these kinds of games happen - one or two people have an agenda of their own, go it alone or even attempt suicide missions and when things don’t go as they planned they point fingers elsewhere and instead of finding a middle ground somewhere, people continue to do things that only create more confusion, and if you aren’t super careful about how you play you can’t ever expect to get the outcome you want the most. Bad thing about it is some people do not care how their rotations / movements in game can non-verbally influence other players, and the worst case scenario is when neither party is willing to play around each other and so the same mistakes are repeated. Even if a compromise is met, the shot caller plays with their own agenda in mind and everything falls apart because of the disconnect in coordination. It’s what happened to me, last night.

Some players are beyond bad so very bad that not even with space created they can’t kill one hero .

Zera needs at least 1 teleport removed if he’s revealed… seriously it’s damn annoying and he can literally go in, delete a squishy and teleport out…

My answer for that is to join said player. For protection, and possible win condition.
Might become a 2v5 but hey, I wasn’t the one making the call

Generally 8v10 is a sign of a major problem. At that point I just focus on doing stuff semi-randomly and either eat the loss or we get some good picks and back in the game, baby.

I have chat off so no team-fights

a) They soak and we don’t win 5v3, 5v4 - deserved loss
b) Both soak and our team feeds - can try swapping but usually deserved loss
c) We soak and they win brutally hard - can try 5v5 but usually deserved loss
d) None soak and they have slightly better tf, meaning they’ll win all objectives - loss
So yeah.

I think Alterac solo is top but people often rotate around. Given the bruiser camp the preference can be different left/right. That being said, I focus a lot less on getting camps and I’m having boss winrates while doing so. (Jinx protocol initiated.)
Dehaka would want to choose opposite of first objective for the benefits of late rotation.

In situations like those I always wonder what I could have done. I think we were on okay footing until I left top lane, because I was able to keep dehaka pretty low and I would think if he is low he woildnt want to risk being close to a greymane and ragnaros when brightwing could silence him.

Maybe here in a sec I will watch the replay and see what all was really going on. I’m curious.

All right - so I watched the replay. The first fight over objective is where we messed up and our disadvantage started. They were only slightly ahead in xp and we were in the process of releasing their prisoner.

We were fighting on Red’s side (right). I stay close to the prisoner and i have ragnaros and Brightwing with me. Enemy Dehaka takes the opportunity to capture a camp and then burrow in and land his tongue on Ragnaros just as we stun and burst Enemy Valla. Enemy Diablo at this time Dives Brightwing and so I turn my attention to Dehaka and Diablo as Valla runs up to their mid fort on the right side. She is very low.

Meanwhile, both Tassadar and Greymane are Tunnel visioning Enemy Tyrande on the left side, and somehow she manages to not only survive but get both of them low (…??? Just Wall her and blow her up…) They get dangerously low, realize that Dehaka is pretty healthy and has Diablo to help him and begin backing away to our side.

At this point, brightwing gets stunned by Tyrande while trying to Phase Shift and is locked down and killed because I can’t stop all three of them. She goes down, and Ragnaros gets targeted - I get on Diablo and Valla tries to come back in still low behind me so I move toward her one pace and she backs away and I turn around trying to stun them and slow them. They kill Ragnaros , and Greymane spam pings me as I get surrounded by 3 people and struggle to my death.

It also did not help that after all of this, They successfully gank Ragnaros top because he was over extended, and they pick up the kill - Tassadar and I couldnt prevent it so we had to get out. Meanwhile, Greymane was over extended middle and was killed. He had 4 deaths by the 7 minute and 10 second mark.

After that, the rest of the story I described previously comes in to play. We continue to take fights at tallent disadvantages and it gradually progresses into a loss.

Tbh, I’m surprised Tyrande won a trade against a Greymane and a Tassadar… that shouldn’t happen, but when you chase her to her towers anything is possible in life I suppose lol

Besides the usual teamfight focus, both teams may understand that the Alterac objective is essentially a 4v5 due to the guards drawing away shots, although some heroes benefit from it (Valla, Tass).

One answer is to not tryhard it, let the enemy get near yours, the other is to shift to absolute teamfight and delete focus as soon as they show up. Guardians also stop spawning after recapture. All scenarios just said: actively ignore the guardians, unless safe because of a level lead, outnumbering or hero specific advantages.

It’s not this binary and conscious when playing, of course.

On alterac it might be better to have two solo lane bruisers/falstad and middle lane is tank, healer, and ranged assassin

He left whenever we tried to join him.

Just finished playing as three zagaras in aram and it is absolute degenerate nonsense. One guy somehow managed to die 15 times and we almost lost but after lvl 16 you have an unstoppable wave of % damage that can be spammed at max range.

I really fail to understand what someone is supposed to do to just have a fair match. Literally every match it’s either someone just dying 15+ times so you just lose, or people just going afk. This match 2 people died at the start, then we killed like 3 people, then another one died. Our mei left. After like 1-2 minutes, our junkrat writes in chat “bye” and also leaves.

We could literally win the game easily if people didn’t leave…

All matches are like that. When it’s not like that, it’s on the enemy team so we just snowball and hard win. I already changed servers, basically 99% of the matches are like that…

Man, hots just really sucks right now

Last night was pretty dumb for me. I’m Solo Mid Lane Brightwing on Tomb of the Spider Queen with our Muradin trying to gank lanes unsuccessfully, Azmodan not listening to turn in his gems because he was too busy harassing Artanis about how bad he is dying top lane while Valla struggles all game and I’m struggling trying to play the best game I can Pixie Dusting and Phase Shifting to people in danger - and these were people who actually communicated in the draft and aggreed to most of their roles.

Next game I play tank and end up with clumsy people trying to play junkrat amd Nazeebo who end up saving people I stun by launching them to safety and people tryijg to go for the back instead of focusing down the stunned person out of position.

I don’t expect people to play good but they shoupd be sensible at the very least :S

5 man or bust. 20 char

I read that without seeing your picture and I thought “Perhaps an Illidan player?” I was right and silenced to boot!

I’m confident that it’s time to change stereotypes.
Li Li is a support for heavy teams with long, prolonged teamfights, with only W build being viable, functional. In that setup, Jugs also turns into a cheat button.

To reinforce this, my first 3 matches.
In the first two, I get two squishie teams, obviously means burst. Q is not enough, I reliably lose 3-5 teammates during Jugs, regardless of pushing it before the teamfight. A bit jelly about Anduin granting protected.

Then the third match, I get Artanis and Aba, to top it off. 17:0 takedowns, I heal 3x of opponent as well (35k vs 12k)… oh wait, my team is average Bronze 2, opponents probably the same. My (single) Jugs works. I mean, this may have been a hard pity win (wasn’t even on a bad loss streak) but still.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Did we even discuss it? Was there a conclusion of hero MMR? (I was of two minds about that.)

The only 4D chess explanation is that I had 3 healers quest, and I show off the behavior that I quit on loss, but often stay to finish it, and healing is my less played, i.e. throw role. Meaning, two free losses and a free win to encourage playing.
(Match 4 is appropriate, too.)
Still, it’s a bit far fetched. Possibly, but unlikely.

Indeed it is. Balanced matches, where people don’t feed hard are really really rare, almost non existent, most matches are stomp or being stomped.

Tbh that illidan players was very fine. He was soaking, getting camps and helping A LOT in fight. Our combo was really good. Sad thing we had 2 bots following us arround through the whole match

Junkrat AI is actually SO BUGGED. He uses riptire but never explodes it, just drives it around in circles for the whole duration ._.

I have a funny story regarding computer AI

Years ago I played HauntedMines with a buddy and we had a Gul’Dan on our team who would flame and was pretty bad. He actually rage quit and the bot took over

…that bot carried us to victory LOL

Not only did the bot die less but it killed more people and we won the game with it. Watching that bot kill players was pretty hilarious

Imperius bot before the nerfs could 1v5 and win.
