Hello, couldn’t find a way to reply to my own thread from 2020 but update! nowadays I laugh it off mostly. I try and use humour. I mean, games are supposed to be ur time to relax and unwind and live a little with those around u.
at the same time, I have got to give it to blizzard for their community management over the last ~6 years since my original post. I think microsoft acquisition really allowed blizzard to have that confidence to filter the player base. this isn’t 2001 anymore. a lot of these games are free so u need to be equally “free” with the banhammer for rotten, time wasting play.
I haven’t seen the r slur in a while and now it makes me laugh cause I am one and idk the word is funny to me. so meta ANYWAY I’m feeling a lot better tho I stay away from general for all that political chat which is fine there I guess. just remember u can /leave general !
is that just my filter tho? do u notice stuff that is just kinda distasteful? I mean not every clown is funny y’know?
