QM Autoselected no tank vs a tank

Recently waited ~5 minutes in queue for this game: imgur/AmpIFT9.png (I don’t understand why we can’t include links in posts… come on).
Deckard + Fenix + Muradin + Tracer + Maiev vs
Kael’thas + Lucio + Orphea + Jaina + Zagara.

The Zagara stated he used autoselect and yet it gave him Zagara despite the other team having Muradin, both teams have a support.

This seems like it directly contradicts the new matchmaking rules, and it’s even worse because there’s no reason for autoselect not to pick a tank here…

I was in a solo QM game (not sure on wait time, relatively short, though) with the following comps:

Brightwing Sylvanas Abathur Diablo Artanis
vs
Orphea Garrosh Malthael Stukov Stitches

No ranged assassins on the first team. Maybe the matchmaker is using the still to come new hero roles?

Matchmaking Bug in QP, 5 Dps vs Balanced Team

Hey waited 600 seconds This is more than enough time for the matchmaker to “Widen” it’s search parameters. It informs the group of as much when you have waited long enough (keep an eye out for the messaging while waiting, to confirm). Once that occurs, you may indeed be matched into a non idea composition for the sake of expediency. Thanks! -Zobrek
