I’m guessing this PTR will be up for awhile. We might get it live with a balance patch to go with it. Who knows?
Sometimes there are surprises on patch day, but not all the time.
So after a restart of my computer I still can’t start any game on the ptr. I get the message (not all player have updated to the newest version of the game). Since I can’t even start a match against AI (no coop) it seems to be a bug.
You expalined my feelings. Thank you.
Yeah, sadly we have to wait a few weeks before blizzard changes it into something good, just like it happened with the exp globes. Like, the majority of the players saw how bad it was and what changes should be made just from reading them. Now it’s the same thing. No need to test or anything, just from reading we already know how awful armor reduction is and also the core changes. But oh well, Blizz being Blizz.
Actually, I think it’s a mount. But cool if it’s Dehaka.
guys, blizzard is no longer used to all of this activity on hots, so it might take them a while to fix the PTR issues
Lmao. Yeah, PTR is down.
I don’t see anything in the PTR that says it will last longer than 1 week. It isn’t like there is any huge changes that scream “Make it last longer!”
Im glad hots is getting a reassurance of activity. The core gamepley changes (core, and towers/forts) are the probably the biggest reason.
I confirm that’s the new Nexus-themed mounts (like the boar from Caldeum Complex but with more “nexus”).
It probably would have been better to make a new hero with this abilities instead of recreate a whole new Tassadar
I am no longer SamiSha’s support as Tassadar…
I’m dying inside because this fact.
And yet, he still doesn’t have access to Hallucination, the one skill from his in-game kit that also took part in the story of original SC… Oh well, I wasn’t expecting that to change, really ![]()
IMO the patch notes themselves imply they don’t think the HP nerf “fixes it”.
It says they did that to bring him down while they gather more data, presumably so they can nerf the right thing in a later patch.
the best things with new tass is you actually need skill to land your Q and you cant spam force wall.
His storm is still weak though.
To be fair this isn’t just a HP nerf, this is also a shield nerf as well.
I mean its not over yet, Tracker will get changes in the future and its better for her to not be reliant on another hero to be good at what she does. Tassadar Tracer not being a balance concern combo anymore frees more space for Tracer buffs does it not?
The change is on the ptr, not on the live server for now. As far as I understood, Blizzard wanted to keep the ptr as long as necessary online to research the resonance of the player base. Perhaps there are changes possible.
It’s not about TT combo only. It’s too personal.
Everything about the new tass is well designed. Like, so far zero complaints. Cant spam his moves, need to be smart when to use his Q and you still need to land it.
To me, thats what makes a hero fun. Abilities that arent easy to use. Blizzard got his Q down perfectly with that.
