PTR Aba Slapathur talent footage

Because I know a lot of people are looking forward to this.
(Also, it is me or has his AA speed been raised?)

Slap a Siege:

VS Hellbat Camp. He caps it better than any other hero now. Takes exactly 14 seconds.
It’s a risk, but pretty sure you can now steal the enemy’s hellbat camp.

VS Bruiser Camp
(There seems to be a lag spike almost every time I use Locust brood near a camp.)
Takes him less than 20 seconds.

Yes, he’s now better at it than pretty much everyone but Hogger. (And hogger takes damage)

Damage contribution on boss.

Aba damage on Fort

Abathur Core Slayer. Yes, it is late game so there’s scaling. But you can’t do this at anytime except late game.

Hehehe, I cannot WAIT for the absolute flood of hate this talent is going to cause.
It’s going to be divine!

I just tried it again, if anything, it’s even more powerful than the first iteration. Now he can own you if you let him get a slap in.

There was a PTR update today but I’m not sure what changed.

Abathur is the cutest video game character I have ever seen

Ability to capture mercs remains unchanged. Abathur is now the best character in the game for camp captture. No one else can take a bruiser camp quickly while taking zero damage.

PTR bug: Locust nest cannot be activated anymore.

Oh, also here’s an explanation on how the stun works (the effect doesn’t really have an 8 second CD). It’s true that 3 seconds is WAY too much for a stun.

I love how powerful it is against the Core.

It will absolutely allow him to backdoor it again after a 10 year break. Esp. if your team can stop the enemy from hearthing back to defend it in time.

Yeah, but I’m a bit worried about having that ability on a character with a teleport that can create its own vision. The ability also lets you clear waves faster by hitting them than by hatting a minion.

That’s slightly more risky, if the wave isn’t right near the gate, Zeratul or Falstad can pretty much delete him in one shot if they catch him.

But if he decides to risk his body and clear waves, the reward is substantial.
