If I view a friend’s profile who’s online in battle net app, but not playing HOTS, it will make it appear as if you can invite them to your party in the party finder in the home section of the game. Then if you try to invite them to your party, it outputs “%s is not online”.

That bug existed at least 5 years, or since the game became public.
Another one is trying to view an offline friends profile, it sometimes says “this player does not have a profile on your realm” which is obviously false.
Which is also funny, because the same bug existed in SC2 for 10 years. I guess they just never found a way to fix it - HotS has the same game engine.
