Hello friends, I introduce myself. I am main Tracer level +260, i have 63% of winrate and 12 of KDA with her. I am Diamond and I would like to know what they think, counters, suggest or say curiosities about this wonderful hero.
I don’t like her, she is like a mosquito with goggles.
Fenix and Zera are good against her.
I don’t know what your experience is but the only invisible person who counters Tracer is Valeera, the others are no problem.
Yeah.
Picture. I really want to see it.
How can I paste images here? let’s say I’m noob in the forums.
You collecting more tracer mains?

Regarding Tracer, she’s never going to be buffed in my opinion. That’s because there are certain heroes Blizzard doesn’t want to be strong because they’d cause too much frustration and anger. Others include Valeera and Genji.
Both of those mentioned heroes were buffed in the last patch they were affected and those weren’t so long ago.
They announced they are looking into her in the last AMA.
AA build Zera is super good against heroes like Tracer, but it comes with a cost: “your @#%#$# life ends in 16 levels”.
Or we can play togheter. Remember, I’m from where you are.
Do you wait for your team to engage team fights or you like to go in with happy triggers?
A Good Nova can a be pain for Tracer to fight.
I really enjoy AA Zera myself. Not the most successful build he has right now but can be good in some situations.
I keep hearing people say she’s not good. I’ve always had my doubts about that since she has ridiculous movement and surprising burst. Any tips for positioning and what comps or maps she excels on?
There is a huge diffirence between low and high diamond tho , dia 5 is not hard to reach but around dia 3 is difficult
But counters, q build arthas, chen, varian tyrael
Stitches with bile, thrall with double Q
Mind controll sylv
Tracer is Tychus 2.0 imo. I remember when tychus was unique in being able to move while attacking with his Overkill ability. Then they introduced OW heroes like Tracer who can move while attacking at all times. Tracer feels fair to fight against now compared to her release. Her low health makes her quite easy to punish for ranged auto attackers and point + click heroes.
Ironic because Tychus is now called a fat Tracer with a very specific build.
Tychus overextends he dies for it Tracer does not. Also at lvl 20 only tychus can have the three dashes tracer has baseline by sacrificing other amazing talents hmm
People with Alarak Avatars don’t get to dislike any heroes.
It’s a rule.
I do agree with Alarak. Zeratul counters Tracer hard. Unless you play against a bad Zera who doesn’t know he counters you. Like for example Zera’s who pick “rending Cleave” over “Psionic strength”
They only mentioned talent diversity though. So they may not make her any stronger.
His defense is killing you faster. Also healing lots with “Mending strikes” while you don’t. If you burn recall to prevent Vorpal, that’s a win for him.
True, but Tychus always has more health and more waveclear. Also he’s more than a fruit fly to Tanks. And even though “That’s the stuff” isn’t like it used to be, it gives him way more sustain than Tracer can get.
You are missing the point, he has some talents that makes him behave almost like he has a Blinks, talents to pretty much deal an almost close to be exact % damage while still showing a notch in health bar damage dealt, similar to how Tracer played, I mean she needs to throw the bomb on the target from close range yes, Tychus can just throw it from long range with the right talents.
Fat Tracer.
Tip # 1 is never draft Tracer early.
-
Always try to engage your targets from North or south , instead of west/east. They don’t see you coming as much, and you don’t need to burn a blink to get in.
-
If you’re not doing anything, mount. It may save a blink charge for when you’ll need to move. Also, if you’re not going to mount but you don’t have a target to shoot. Reload. Otherwise you lose DPS on your first attack.
-
Tracer has maps she isn’t great on, but doesn’t really have maps she synergizes with. Since she has no waveclear and little ability to take merc camps, she can’t have an advantage based on the map. You should avoid choke points, as it means you only have two directions you can blink to, which makes you easy to kill. She likes maps that aren’t too large so that she can roam and gank easily.
-
Any enemy comp that is high on CC, or has access to silence is bad for Tracer. Slows can be a problem too. A slowed Tracer is either useless or dead. Uther is like Cryptonite because the armor he gives his team with his passive completely nerf your damage. And if you get close to him you get stunned and killed. I wouldn’t draft Tracer against Stukov or Uther.

Tracer likes allies that provide AoE and damage over time, so that she can move in and finish targets. She also likes healing over time and shields. Though if the Malfurion player doesn’t know to put a heal on you even if you’re not low, it won’t do anything.
