I came back to HotS after a ~3 month hiatus from the old ranked system. A friend and I decided to give it a try again with the release of the new system. At first, everything seemed great. We were winning about ~60% of our games. But now my team mate seems to be getting nearly 3x the amount of ranked points as I. There doesn’t seem to be any discernible differences stat wise at the end of the game either. I got 24 ranked points at the end of a match while he got 72… and we were Cho’Gall. I’ve even gotten the MVP card at the end of the game and received less points than he did. We just finished a match where I was healing as Anduin and he was DPSing as Kel’Thuzad, we won and I had 120k healing at the end with 2 deaths (the least of anyone) and he had top hero damage for our team - i received 52 points for the win while my friend received ~204 rank points.
What’s going on here? What am I missing? It’s really discouraging.
