NEW HERO: Reiker - Support

Hello! My name is Dmitriy. I am glad to present you my new hero concept.

Hero: Reiker

Class: Support

Preface:

Reiker is a robot that is remotely controlled by a human scientist-engineer named Roro from the behind-the-scenes room at a location.

Playing for the Reiker is highly dependent on the tasks. Despite the variability of the possible behavior, the buildup scenario will mainly determine the composition of the team. Reiker’s abilities designed for the tactics of progress. Although the hero belongs to the “background” type of support, upon reaching level 10, Reiker becomes very helpful and demanding to understand the team’s offensive strategy and the nature of each teammate. Reiker is a character for whom you need to plan your affairs in advance and then actively work to fulfill the proper amount of impact. The character will seem difficult, but when you learn all the nuances, you will understand that the whole difficulty is only in explaining, but in fact the character is quite concise and ergonomic.

Resources:

Health – 1740 basically hit points.

Overheating - instead of Mana, the character has a Overheating scale. The maximum indicator is 100. Each ability overheats mechanisms for a certain number of points. If overheating reaches 100, Reiker loses 5% of health and cannot use abilities for 2 seconds. Cooling occurs at a rate of 3 points per second. While driving, the mechanisms are cooled at a rate of 5 points per second.

Details - spent on using the [Q] and [E] abilities. From enemy and allied structures in the course of destruction on the ground falls from 1 to 10 parts in the form of small, medium and large charges. The maximum number of simultaneously transferred parts is 200 units. Accumulated details are lost in case of death, and 30% of the accumulated stock of details remains at the place of death. The lifetime of details on the battlefield is unlimited.

  • The voice acting trick: If Reiker collects the parts after the destruction of the Gazlowe turret and he is nearby, then Gazlow in his signature voice cries out: “Hey, these are my details!”. Does not take his mana bolts.

\\ Abilities:

[Q] - “Repair” - Repairs selected building at a speed of 25 units of strength per second for 25 details. For repairs necessary details that fall after the destruction of buildings. Ability overheating mechanisms at a rate of 5 points per second.

-Quest 1: Repair the constructions for 500 units.

-Reward 1: The effectiveness of repair buildings will increase to 80 units of strength per second for 25 details.

-Quest 2: Repair the constructions for 1500 units.

-Reward 2: The effectiveness of repair buildings will increase to 80 units of strength per second for 15 details.

  • As the details fall from both the allied and enemy structures, their number is much smaller than the initial strength of the structure. Thus, to restore one protection from 1% to 100%, it will take, for example, two or three destroyed ones.

  • Due to the amount of time and resources required for repair, the Q ability is rather intended to be used for minor repairs than to repair the entire database as a whole full time.

[W] – “Winch” - The character is built into the ground and clings to the chosen allied hero nearby. Reapply W pull the hitched hero back to Reiker. If the hitched hero goes too far, or if at the moment of pulling it crashes into an obstacle, the winch goes back. If on the return path of the pulled hero will be opponents - they get 100 points of damage. If the enemy hero stumbles over the active winch, it slows down by 30% for 1.5 seconds. One return of the allied hero overheats the mechanisms by 20 points. Return empty winch does not overheat mechanisms. Cooldown: 20 seconds.

[E] - “Free the Hold” - Throws 2 details randomly to the selected side, dealing 60-80 points of damage from each first enemy on the way. Discarded details can then be picked up again. One press overheats the mechanisms by 12 points. Cooldown: 3 seconds.

[D] - “Medbot” - Passive: Reiker does not restore health over time, but can choose [Q] itself as a target, recovering at a rate of 2% of health per second for 5 details. After activation D character is transformed into a stationary medical terminal. The automatic turret becomes inactive. Allied heroes can approach the medbot, and when used, begin to restore 240 health points in 3 seconds. If an ally moves or takes damage, the process is interrupted. The interval between applications for one hero is 4 seconds. The maximum supply of medicines is 1400 health units. Can be activated during active winch-W. One press of D overheats the mechanisms by 30 points. The cooldown time of a whole stock of medicines is 120 seconds. Recovery begins when the medication remains less than 15%. If the character returns to base, the ability is instantly recharged.

  • The automatic turret is Reiker’s auto-attacks with a speed of 1 shot in 0.5 seconds. Aimed at the chosen target, with the ability to shoot on the go. Deals slight, but frequent damage within a radius of 7.5 meters.

  • While Reiker is in stationary mode - (W and D) - it cannot be moved from the place by repulsive abilities. Being un-pushed, Reiker is unlikely to hurt opponents, but in the case of an active winch W, he will be able to quickly pull back a pushed ally.

[R1] - “Drill-boer” - The character digs underground and invisible moves throughout the all location at a speed of 300%. Repeated pressing pulls out after 1.5 seconds, and deals 760 damage to all opponents in this area, slowing them down by 20% for 1.5 seconds. Buildings take 30% more damage. Burying down overheats mechanisms by 45 points, and then 2 points per second while moving. Being underground, Reiker cools only when stopped in place. Burying up overheats mechanisms for 20 points. Cooldown: 100 seconds.

  • At the moment when Reiker starts to burying out to the surface in 1.5 seconds, the opponents are warned by the appeared indicator of the area on the ground, and may have time to move away, “feeling the increasing earthquake under their feet.”

  • If during the underground movement over Reiker there is an enemy hero, then for a short period of time that enemy hero will see on the ground feeble graphic indicator of the earthquake beneath. Such a nuance is necessary to compensate for the ultimatum - it will affect the tactics of Reiker cross-passability, and as a result will increase the overheating to the necessary distance.

[R2] - “Gravi-4 Kit” – Drops from sky a capsule with 4 gravitational medical hoverboards to the specified location. If the allied hero uses the capsule, after 0.5 seconds he will stands on one board. While the hero is on the board, he regains 220 health points for 4 seconds. The speed of movement on the board is the same as in conventional transport. If the Capsule hits the enemy hero, he will take 1050 damage. Warriors and mercenaries take 50% less damage. The capsule cannot be dropped onto buildings, or they do not take damage. The time of existence of the capsule is 60 seconds. Durability - 1500 units. Cooldown: 80 seconds.

  • The radius of R2 application is 40 meters, but only in a “visible” place.

  • The diameter of the chosen hit area is only 1.5 meters. Thus, high damage is compensated by the required accuracy if the ability is used to hit an enemy target.

  • Animation - The capsule falls from the sky, and is stuck into the ground. The central boards-compartment start rotates after insertion whole capsule to the ground. At the time of landing, opponents for 1 second see the area where the capsule will land.

  • The ability can be used to partially block the passage.

  • The capsule can’t be repaired with the ability [Q].

[1] Active ability - “Release” - Remotely untie the active winch (W) from the allied hero.

[Z] – Instead of transport, Reiker uses his chassis. Clicking on [Z] makes a jerk in the chosen direction. Overheating mechanisms for 20 points. Cooldown: 25 seconds.

  • A little trick in the animation: when Reiker stays there for a long time, and then suddenly he rides - he rears up, to the rear wheels, like motorcycles and chariots. Dance button slightly unbend the tentacle-hands, and shows something like “Now will work.”

\\ Talents:

— 1 level

1) “Big Winch” - Increases the radius of the active winch by 25% and reduces the cooldown time of the ability W by 5 seconds.

2) “Battle Hold” - Increases the firing range of parts by 30%. In the first half of the distance flying parts cause 20% more damage. Also reduces scatter by 40% and overheating from E-ability by 2 points.

3) “Improved Tools” - Reduces overheating from [Q] by 2 points, and increases repairing speed with every second by 10%.

-Quest: Restore 1800 health points to allied heroes with D.

-Reward: The amount of healing from D will increase by 20 health points per second.

4) “Extended Hold” - Increases the hold capacity to 250 details and increases the number of medicines by 200 units to restore health to the allies with the help of D.

1) Active ability – “Blowing Pistons” - When activated, the character gets unstoppable for 2 seconds. Cooldown: 45 seconds.

2) Active ability - “Assistant” - Calls for the help of a small radio-controlled robot. The speed of its movement is 140%, and the strength is 510 hit points. The robot can collect the fallen parts, a maximum of 70 units. One click on the robot takes 14 details. A robot can crush buildings only, dealing 18 damage per 0.5 second by each claw in turn. The robot exists for 80 seconds, and is controlled by re-pressing the ability. If the time of the robot expires, it leaves all the assembled details in its place, and if it is destroyed, then it leaves 60% of the number of assembled details in its place. Cooldown: 40 seconds.

  • The Assistant can be repaired with the ability [Q].

  • By the ability [Q] can also be repaired: Gazlowe Q-Turrets, Tychus R2-Drill, Abathur’s Mul and stationary camp turret on the map.

3) “Weighted Bullets” - Damage from automatic shooting increases by 10%. Buildings take 40% more damage.

4) “Mines Casing” - Reduces damage taken from enemy missiles and explosions by 70%. Damage taken from the Sergeant Hammer auto attacks is reduced by 40%.

— 7 level

1) “Energy Winch” - Increases the speed of autoattack of the hitched ally hero by 10% (W)

2) “Single Shot” - Increases the range of use [E] by 25%, but the ability throws only one detail. When throwing, this part deals 18% more damage, and towards the end of the path the bonus gradually disappears. Also reduces cooldown by 1 second.

3) “Suppression” - Ability [E] throws 3 parts, but the damage from each is reduced by 10%. Increases cooldown by 1 second.

4) “Improved Ventilation” - The rate of cooling mechanisms increases by 6 points per second. Reduces overheating from jerk [Z] by 8 points.

— 13 level

1) “Battle Medbot” - Modifies the mechanisms of transformation. In the medical terminal mode D, the automatic turret does not retract, but rises higher, thereby increasing its firing radius by 20% during D.

2) “Mobile Winch” - Allows you to move in W mode, but the ally hero returns only 1.5 seconds after pressing (during this time, Reiker built into the ground). Increases overheating of [W] by 5 points.

3) “Armored Corps” - Gives additional protection in the form of 15 armor units.

— 16 level

1) “Detector” - Moving around the battlefield, Reiker randomly receives from 1 to 5 details. If the hold is full, the details remains visible on the ground and can be picked up later. Does not work during the effect of the ability “Drill-boer”-R1.

2) “Improved Mechanisms” - Reduces overheating from each ability by 15%.

3) “Armor Breaker” - Automatic shooting lowers the target’s armor by 2 units once a second, up to 16 units. The effect disappears after 1.5 seconds without hits.

4) “Inert chassis” - After the jerk by [Z], Reiker moves 30% faster if it does not stop. The effect gradually subsides in 6 seconds.

— 20 level

1) R1 - “Transport Drill” - When Reiker dug underground and does not move, for 5 seconds one allied hero can sit into the drill and be transported with Reiker in location. Increases the size of the Drill-boer and the area of damage enemies by 25%. Reduces the cooldown by 10 seconds.

2) R2 - “Gravi-6” - Increases the number of gravitational hoverboards by 2 and the amount of healing from them by 25%, and the speed of moving while standing on them - by 5%. Increases the strength of the capsule by 500 units and the damage from hit by the capsule on enemies by 25%. Reduces the cooldown by 10 seconds.

  • In addition to the escape for the allies, this ultimate ability is a kind of "portable medical station.”

  • Increased damage and strength due to the increased size, weight and the updated version of the capsule itself (2 more boards).

3) “Double turret” - Replaces the turret on a double. The guns shoot in turns, increasing the overall rate of fire by 2 times, but each of them deals only 60% damage.

4) Active ability – “Redundant Cooling” - Instantly cools the mechanisms by 50 points. Cooldown: 60 seconds.
