I really hope it will be either Reaper or Brigitte from Overwatch. Not just because it has been over a year and half since Hanzo’s (the current last overwatch hero released) release. but also because both have their “skulls” (Mask from Reaper and shield from Brigitte) shown on Qhira’s collection in her trailer and the rest of the skull’s original owners are already in the game. Hopefully.
Basically what i’m saying is that we need an Overwatch hero next since it has been over a year that we didn’t get any.

Reaper and Brigitte don’t excite me at all. I’d much rather have Reinhardt and Zenyatta. I’d take Symmetra and Sombre over Reaper and Brigitte.

But there IS going to be a hero at Blizzcon confirmed.
It’s already been confirmed that Qhira was the last hero worked on before the HotS staff was reduced, and work on her was started alongside Orphea.
They they put her off as long as they could, but it was either put Qhira out now or not release anyone.
I really would like something not nexus as everybody else here.
I wonder how long can it take to put out an unbalanced bunch of pixel with a texture on it - mumble mumble.

Im really hoping that Reinhardt comes into the game. Overwatch is in need of a main tank character and is the only franchise (besides nexus born heroes) that doesn"t have a tank. Plus its been forever since they have had a character…

I’ve never played Overwatch, but after seeing Reinhardt cinematic, i would like to play him or Balderich.

Agreed. I’m not really a fan of Overwatch, and even I’m thinking it’s time we had a new Overwatch hero. Reinhardt would be a great go-to. Very prominent and well known, his design makes for lots of easy skin options (marine who uses a hammer, paladin, vrykul, barbarian, viking, etc.).
Think Torbjorn would be interesting for a more experimental OW hero, but don’t think now is the time for such a thing. But translating the whole Engineer-style gameplay into a MOBA would be the kind of bananas thing I could see HotS doing.

I’m hoping for Arcturus Mengsk. Although I’ve always envisioned him as a specialist which are no longer a thing, I’m hoping they can somehow fit him into a ranged assassin hero or even an offensive support, since there are so few now that healers are their own class. I think another hero like Abathur that’s mostly not on the front line would be a nice counter. But I’ve also always wanted a hero that can manipulate/command the minions and mercs.

Also, Talandar actually has a unit to convert into a hero. Selendis would have to be built from the ground up since she’s never been playable outside of a named carrier.

In Lotv she appeared before us as a zealot. Her quick and graceful movements could be the basis for the gameplay.

In LotV she used the model of the random female Zealot from Niadra’s mission in Heart of the Swarm, and had no gameplay data whatsoever.
