Have the top 5 mmrs pick the teams and then have it be a mirrored mode where both the teams are the exact same. Then, it comes down to talents and player skill.
My opinion is this: this game isnt balanced and its due much to the draft. A wrong pick can be the difference between winning and losing at various ranks. A way to counter this is by having a mirrored mode. For those that think the game should be more like chess, or checker, or mankala, or parcheezi, or monopoly…just leave it up to chance. Mirrored teams would get rid of the moving part of a draft. Of course, you would still have a draft, it would just be mirrored for both teams. A certain amount of time would be given to figure out who would play what. Simply having mirrored drafts could eliminate a huge variety of the frustrations people have with the game.
