I’ve been playing a lot of Abathur recently and its pretty annoying / not very fun for me to be playing in an Abathur mirror match more often than not. In general, I don’t like having mirror matches in my games, but I’m usually alright with it except when it comes to playing against another Abathur. It feels like I have to play the game a lot different than I would normally have to and honestly it makes me just want to leave the game.
This could obviously be resolved if I played ranked/aram/bots, but I personally don’t really want to play ranked in this game and just play it casually. I don’t like aram in this game since you’re only locked to three options unlike in league where you can reroll / exchange your pick options with teammates. Bots is out of the question lol.
TLDR; I don’t like playing Abathur vs Abathur. I will play if I get matched against it, but its just really annoying for me personally and wish there was a toggle or some kind of option to remove mirror matching in general, but I understand its to help queue times.

Aba in particular happens alot because the game tries to match supports against supports. That pool of heroes is just to small for that tho and it definitely doesn’t help that aba is the most popular support by alot.
closest thing you’d have for a ‘toggle’ would be to get in a group that has someone queue as a healer. If the match has a healer, then it’s not required to match against a support, and it reduces the likelihood of your mirroring against another abathur, esp since other duo queues usually use someone directly empowered by abathur, instead of a healer.
However, since there is a lack of tanks queuing, bruisers having a matching rule, and since healer demand exceeds healer supply, the game has a support-matching rule.
I’ve - somewhat jokingly – suggested that Qm matching might be improved if more heroes where ‘converted’ to the support flag to both increase the pool that it matches, but also reduce the mirrors for the limited support rule.
I think the easiest solution would be to simply match Abathur with former specialist heroes. (As well as supports)
As one additional issue is that you don’t see many Zaryas, TLV or Medhivs in QM.
He’s a unique specialized hero in a category where only three other characters exist. So maybe match him with Murky, Azomo, Xul and Zagara?
Though I agree that I would like more variety, I don’t mind the mirror Abathur matches in QM because I usually win.
These requests / suggestions are for players who aren’t evil. 
In QM, abathur is more often than not a selfish pick. The enemy team getting 1 too is actually making the game better (fairer) for the other 8 players.
I wish abathurs get mirrored every time, if I have to see 1 in my matches.
it’s even worse when you play abathur and you get deathwing as one of your teammates . The solution is simple , add a hero ban option and bye bye mirror match .
