+1 for bigger wings. He looks like a chicken now. Blizzard, please, fix it!

I wrote on Twitter:

@BlizzHeroes please fix Imperius’ wings. Take a bit more time to develop him. Don’t rush. Give the work to another artist if the current one is moving to other project. Fans don’t need a rushed hero. It was long awaited and those wings are disappointing. Please fix.

Naaah… 10 bucks via mobile for an opportunity to grind for them, that’s the new standard (looking at you, Black Ops 4)!

I don’t say they not different enough but there are ppl who play this game but don’t know who these two are.

They can take some form Alexstraza legs and put it to the Imperius’ wings and there still be enough material for her ears. Both will benifit.

Making things bigger on models does not take more money nor effort. this was a design decision

Precisely. And while you don’t have to agree with the current artistic version (I do think they need to tone them up a bit), there’s no need for the edgy ‘must be budget cuts/laziness’ nonsense.

For those that can’t understand the decision to have the wings they way they are, imagine a really hectic team fight: ults flying back and forth, people zipping all over the place, different skin effects. When you have all that going on, and on top of that you have a character model that is outshining important stuff like: the edge of that Flamestrike circle or Mosh Pit or Ring of Frost, it becomes a gameplay issue.

You can’t just compare how he looks in the shop or in a calm Try Mode environment, you have to consider how the model effects things in live action.

Any straight men on the galaxy who dislikes the new Alextrazsa desing, is only half of a man, and maybe even a quarter…hell , maybe even 1/8 of a man.

I dont know I like them but I am also not one to cry when ever something seems off. Guess real life issue trump game stuff.

so they could have found a design that didnt interfere in that situation, but they either have had a)budget cuts or b)they are lazy.

pick both?

Neither. The wings are the way they are intentionally and it’s almost certainly for gameplay/readability reasons. I’m sure if it were only up to the artists, he’d look so stunning it’d be the only thing you could see on your screen. But there’s more to consider than just that one perspective.

The only thing ‘lazy’ about this are the people calling Blizzard ‘lazy’. Literally the lamest, most overplayed slur that gets used by the edgelords, with ‘greedy’ being a close contender.

what if i called you a white knight? would you still think that lazy is the most overplayed? Cuz ur definitely whiteknighting.

What if I told you I don’t care what you think of me?

Then i’d wonder why you bothered to type that response out, unless you need the attention/feedback. There seems to be a fair number of people who think his wings look weak. In the splash art and all of the stills that went with that video, his wings look much more impressive. His wings arent even on par with Tyrael or Auriel’s wings. His wings are bad. It’s not a design decision. Nobody is saying they need to be so big you cant seen anything else. There is already plenty that can happen in game that you wont see due to clutter on the ground, and most of that can be countered by gameplay experience.

You are white knight, and 2c has been deposited into your account.

In fact, everyone I know that has seen him so far agrees. “What’s with those wings?” First exchange of ideas between myself and another, after seeing the in game. They’re weak, Korvuss…

Calling anyone that disagrees with you a ‘white knight’ is pretty petty.

Game has a metric ton of problems and this community complains about stupid wing size.

If you didn’t see this.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they add a microtransaction for Alex to lose weight.
