Another patch where they nerf Deathwing, and wait, the damage of 1 ability was increased by 1. Incredible. In all the time I’ve been playing, only 1 player has ever collected stacks. 2000 stacks is too much.
Considering the ability deals damage every 0.125 second. 1 more damage makes a difference.
Destroyer’s rampage 2 second nerf is understandable. The ability refreshes when damaging heroes, AND it reduces his cooldowns by 50%. So you get a lot of uptime either way.
20 damage per tick is still less than the 21 damage it did pre Feb 10 2026.
I think ranged builds need a little more buffs, with the energy cost increases, it’s harder to get the full damage bonus on Infernus.
DMight has also dropped to a 48-49% WR across all SL ranks (according to HeroesProfile).
The nerfs they are making to W build I don’t think are addressing what’s actually making DW strong, which are the raw numbers on Destroyer W and E.. DW had 4 viable builds (for different situations) and I think the current changes (nerfing talents) are reducing the amount of builds and playstyles he has (removing form switch also making him less versatile).
Previously where W build was strong it did well (of course), and currently against those same comps where W looks good, you can actually 1v5 and dominate the match.
I think it’s obvious now that they don’t want him to be able to be good at both ranged and close. You can only get one.
World Breaker buffs does have some stuff going for it, the extra slow on Lava Burst is really nice.
I need to come to terms with the fact that you’re right. It’s so sad. Knowing when to swap made me feel smort. The plan was to make him one dimensional all along.
