I’m not sure how why or when it happened, but I decided I wanted to do a game with Butcher. For some reason it says I don’t own him. I know for a fact I owned him. I play him a lot and have him at lvl 12 and 37 games. I’m confident I haven’t only played him in free rotation.
Do you recall how you’ve obtained The Butcher, was it in a loot chest or did you straight up buy the Hero with gold or gems? If it’s the latter, the order history on your account will have the purchase recorded indefinitely.

Yep, check purchase history on battle.net. It shows if you spent gold or gems on him.
If he’s not there, you haven’t bought him and only played him on free rotation.
(Another very unlikely scenario is that OP logged into another server where he has less heroes)
