I’m looking for a couple others for some playing. My friend & I are wanting to try finding more people to play in Ranked games with because we have more fun with ranked/unranked overall, but neither of us can really get into it because lack of coordination and communication with everyone else. Also, it’s more fun with more people.
I’ve been Diamond in HL every season except the last 2 or 3 seasons, because I just did my placements & never touched HL again. So MMR-Decay has caught up, and put me in High/Mid-Platinum HL. I also think my friend has been Platinum every season. Both of our TL ranks hover around Gold.
We’re not looking for anything THAT tryhard, as I’m sure we don’t intend to go over replays, heavily-evaluate things, try out for any tournaments, etc. Basically we’re for someone who’s fun to talk to, somewhat decent/has an idea of what’s going on in-game, is trying to rank up gradually, and is online reasonably consistently. Maybe 3+ times a week, when possible.
Times would be anywhere from between 8-10pm EST (usually 10’ish) until 12 or 1AM EST. Sometimes earlier in day depending on schedules & times/days off, in which case- it can potentially be ANY time of day.
As far as Roles go: I play almost anything. Mainly preferring Assassin / Off-Tank+Bruisers - Specialists. I’ll also play as a Double-Support in some situations, but I can NOT play a Solo-Support that well. My friend mainly does Tank/Assassin/Support. So if you can play a decent variety of heroes of any role, or just mainly prefer support- that’s great. It really don’t matter.
Since this isn’t really too try-hard, but instead more for casually ranking up & having fun, strict try-outs aren’t really necessary. And hey, if the game seems open for it- we may even pull out a random silly hero pick now and then that you rarely would see. It’s all for fun as long as we’re trying to win, and not just using said random-silly hero in a dumb situation just because you want to play them. Save that for QM’s.
However we will need to play a few games; because I’ve met a few people who I just can’t get along with, or we all just don’t perform well together in-game.
Sometimes I tend to get intoxicated when I play, and sometimes he can get a get a bit annoyed / tilt, so let that be known ahead of time.
Voice-Communication is required, but skill-levels (as long as you have an idea of what’s going on), gender, and age (as long as you’re mature enough), don’t matter that much. (We’re both in our upper 20’s though).
