Every time I play a game of Heroes of the storm I get random lag spikes throughout the entire match.
I’ve run the WinMTR tests on 2 games that the lag spikes occurred but I don’t know how to read the info and how it helps me.
Can someone help me fix the annoying lag? It doesn’t happen in any other game, not even blizzard ones.

Running WinMTR
Go to your WinMTR and make sure to let it run for at least 250+ sent packets while you are playing. During that time if you experience lag it should show up on your WinMTR. When you are done just press the stop button.
couple notes here:
- options “resolve names”: you may need to press this to post the info without doing a lot of editing since the forum doesnt allow links.
- you may want to edit the first two IP addresses to 0.0.0.0 as these normally are where your home IP addresses are depending on if your router shows up or not.
Press Copy to Clipboard. Then paste the information here.
Then highlight all the text and press </> button.

You are showing slight packet loss in both MTRs but in your second one it’s consistent throughout.
Please try the steps in this article, including the advanced and let me know if they help.
Try to get on “local account” in windows.
