Talent states that bonus is no longer lost on death after damage reduction patch - however, all stacks are still lost on death.
It doesn’t say that anywhere and your point is unclear. Is it the secured damage bonus from quest completion that is dropping down?

He is referring to a patch, so I double checked last balance patch from 2 days ago, and there are no changes to Kael’thas at all.
Convection has not changed in any way, stacks are still reset as usual if you don’t reach 20 stacks.
There’s no change to Convection at all since 2016.
It’s my bad! I misread the skill. The damage definitely got reduced by 100 damage on final stack. Previously it was 100 damage with 5 damage per stack, and the permanent damage plus the previously added 100 bonus.
