Same goes for adding a surrender. Games dont last long enough to have one. And powercreep in this moba is one of the fair compared to other mobas that has champions that becomes semi broken later on because of items.
Regarding this you need to change your mentality when these games happens because expecting Blizzard to fix it after so many years its like asking someone who is in Vegetative state to talk to you, most probably is not gonna happen while they are still not awake, and you will just feel powerless most of the time which sucks.
Personally for me I like to think that these games happens so you can get better, It helps me to make them more fun as I find reason to try anyway. If you leave because you don’t like the team you get then you might want to consider moving to another game because this is an issue it’s been always around in HotS and more prevalent lately which I think it’s making the players leave the game.
If you are like hard core fans, that you love this game and just can’t get enough out of it but there is certain aspect of it that you can’t find your head around it, you just accept it and help around to keep the community vibrant and helpful (Even with trolls).
You are part of a team, and as a team based game which is part of the main mechanics of this game, even if you are really good, you are as a good as the weakest link of your team.
With so many games played in solo QM, something that always helped me is to not give up, and you will have good turn arounds very often. I had unwinnable games almost always the last 2 months ago, and probably because I’m a sweaty player most of the time, which helps and keeps the fun for me. If you like having a good team most of the time, then by all means go and group which might be a solution for you, but I had good teammates as my games becomes more consistent (I played just 1 hero all this time and my skill level didn’t changed abruptly). I strongly believe Matchmaking accounts also for your hero level as well as your account level and MMR (Both as a players and with your hero) so take this in mind when you pick a hero you are not familiar with.
Honestly I see a lot of complains about 5 Stacks and even if it is true in a sense I don’t see anything wrong about grouping per se, I had a lot fun doing it some time ago but if you group, your MMR will get messed up when you start playing solo again with the same account. I don’t know if this is a good solution for you but I have 2 accounts to separate my solo and party QM games so I don’t mess up my MMR when changing between one or the other, I’ve seen more consistency with the quality of games I had doing this.
If you get trolls, then use the trolls to your advantage if that sounds really bad but it worked for me when I used to play solo for a long time. I play a very squishy hero and the only way I found sometimes to win the fights is to go with them and try do something with them than not to do anything at all alone (even if it was a horrible call sometimes, this will depend on situation and context when you can capitalize a bit and get a kill or two if you need to trade your teammates for theirs). This is a team game and should be played as should too (Unless you are very good then do your thing)
Also personally I had issues that I expected people to play at the same skill level than me not realizing how the game matchmaking works. Once you accept the matchmaking you will learn to have more fun around it. I liked to be helpful to my team, most of the time, but I also had a particular problem that I always pushed things to far to the point of throwing games and blamed teammates for not trying harder, everyone has limits and you should try to be aware of your teammates limits as well. IF they don’t do something is because they don’t feel comfortable doing it so try to account for that as well.
As the player base gets smaller this things will happen more. I recommend to do what you can and try to have fun. Some people love winning and I accept that and agree but for me the joy of this game is to do my best and just have fun doing it.
The leaver queue is where trolls go. If you got in there, you have done something wrong.
Yes, I leave a match if I’m getting trolled by a team.
That’s what you have done wrong. Now you are stuck with people who think exactly like you do. You may only leave after you’ve reflected on your sins. It’s like a purgatory, and it’s great.
Nope, the leaver queue is where people who leave or who had an internet issue go (regardless if he was online 99% of the game and he only had a little internet issue the last 5 seconds of the match)
You will never be put in leaver queue for one disconnect. You’re always put in leaver queue as a result of a consistent issue.
You’re correct. If you haven’t disconnected from any games for, a couple of months or so, if you DC, you won’t be punished. From memory, I think if you haven’t left any matches for a long time, you get up to two disconnects within a week, where you aren’t placed into the leavers queue.
The system for leavers is actually quite lenient.
The first time each season is free, but no the other ones, so you only need to have “bad luck” 2 times per season for the leaver queue.
“I’m in leaver queue. Yes, I leave a match if I’m getting trolled by a team.”
I dont see a problem with this. your absolutely wrong.
plus the game sometimes boots you off the lobby and still penalizes you. broken game. your login is broken.
dont listen to the last message, this game is broken you shouldnt’ suffer like this. and don’t stay to your lane wtf
