Chests stop spawning after a certain threshold of coins are in play on Blackheart’s Bay. Currently 84 in circulation and 7 already turned in by the opposing team. So around 90-91 Blackheart will cease demanding coin.
Currently farming the map now to see how much of a chore it is.
Recruit A.I right now. Bots are more prone to take bottom camp, they have only made one attempt–if you can even call it that–on the boss mob.
While it is only my first farm attempt after the patch, it is not as much of a chore as I thought it would be. I would even go as far as state it is easier to farm now.
The location of the new watch towers makes it easy to see if the bots are attempting to either turn in or capture the siege camp on my side.
The extra health to structures means that unless a lane is pushed buildings are beefier with a slightly larger margin room for error.
Going from all to half of coins dropped means the bots are gonna turn in at some point, but so long as they all only have a single coin, it seems to not matter after at least the first turn in.
I also swear they tweak bots every patch. They seem to be more active now; Blaze and sometimes the other bots on my team tag merc camps (coin, boss, bruiser, siege) every chance they can.
Bots have also been staggering cc the last few matches I played against them, which I do not recall them ever doing, but that maybe me noticing things I had not before.
Update: Coin camps and mercs will still drop coins, but Blackheart becomes a penny pincher at 90 coins in circulation.
Currently enemy team has not taken a single coin camp.
Edit again: Enemy A.I does not bother with coin camps anymore it seems. They will only gather coins from merc camps or chests.
Update again: I accidentaly obliterated the entire enemy team which in my experience is almost a death knell post level 30+, did not really matter at the time of this update as minions did not do serious damage.
Final Update:
I would say this is one of the smoother farm attempts I had. The extra structural bulk, map objective damage reduction, vision tower placement, and new coin loss system meant I could be far more aggresive with the bots than I previously would.
I made a number of mistakes that would have resulted in this match to end earlier prior to this patch. The bots also only made one solid attempt at boss due to me being far more aggressive in hunting them down. Part of that could be due to the bot composition, but they were noticeably more active in taking camps on their side.
Also of note, Dehaka A.I is a super derp. He tunneled down to near bottom lane as soon as gates opened up to then hearth back…because reasons.
