{Hero Concept} Praetor Talis

Praetor Talis is a deceptively complex ranged Mage who revolves around her Resonating Glaives, projectiles that bounce infinitely between her and her Psionic Projection.
Statistic Value(Level ‘0’)
Health 1700(+4%/level)
Health Regeneration 3.541/s(+4%/level)
Attack Damage 65(+4%/level)
Attack Speed 1.2
Attack Range 5.5

D Psionic Projection

Passive:
Talis is always accompanied by a psionic projection of her form, tethered to her body. It is completely non-interactable, but does nothing on its own. All of Talis’ abilities have interactions with the Psionic Projection. The Psionic Projection is also limited in how far it can travel from Talis, and will pull back towards her if it is ever moved outside by Talis’ movement.

Active:
Talis controls her projection, telling it to move to the targeted location.

Projection Speed - 5.81 units/s
Tether Range - 8.0 units.
Cooldown - None.

Q Resonating Glaive

Talis quickly launches a bolt of energy in the targeted direction that homes in on the closest hero in its cast line. The bolt deals 180(+4%/level) damage on impact with an enemy Hero, then ricochets after 0.2 seconds towards Talis’ Psionic Projection. If it hits Talis’ Projection, the Projection throws the bolt back at the closest enemy Hero after another 0.2 seconds, dealing the same damage on impact and ricocheting towards Talis if it hits again, continuing to ricochet back and forth so long as Talis and her Projection continue to catch the bolt and hit an enemy. Resonating Glaive may ricochet indefinitely, and multiple Resonating Glaives may be active concurrently.

The exact way Resonating Glaive ricochets is determined by the motion of Talis or her Projection when it launches towards them;
If Talis/the Projection are standing still, the Glaive aims 5° off to a random side for every 1 unit of distance between them and the target it is ricocheting off of.
If Talis/the Projection are moving, the Glaive aims halfway to where they would have moved at their current speed, factoring distance between them and the target it is ricocheting off of.
Talis may always see where her Glaive is going to bounce to.

Range - 8.0 Units.
Projectile Speed - 16.0 Units/s.
Cooldown - 8 seconds.
Cost - None.

W Energetic Surge

Talis sends a surge of psionic energy through her tether to her Psionic Projection, dealing 200(+4%/level) damage to enemies along the path and granting her Projection 20% increased movement speed for 2 seconds when the surge reaches it.

Surge Speed - 10 Units/s.
Cooldown - 10 seconds.
Cost - None.

E Phase Rush

Talis dashes in the target direction slowly. During the dash, Talis loses unit collision, and all hostile projectiles phase through her like she isn’t there, and if her Resonating Glaive strikes any point of her dash, she catches it regardless of where she currently is. If Talis targets her Psionic Projection with Phase Rush, she may dash up to 3 times further, traveling proportionally faster, and her Psionic Projection additionally dashes to where Talis is, with the same properties applied.

Range - 2.0 Units.
Dash Speed 4.0 Units/s.
Cooldown - 12 seconds.
Cost - None.

Z Psionic Transfer

Talis’ Projection gains 30% increased movement speed for 2 seconds, and may move up to twice as far from Talis during this time. At the end of the timer, Talis and the Projection switch places.

Cooldown - 45 seconds.
Cost - None.

R1 Absolute Projection

Talis focuses on strengthening her Psionic Projection, which temporarily becomes a pseudo-hero for up to 20 seconds, counting as a hero for most effects but not for effects like quests. During this time, it gains 50% of Talis’ health and damage, all of her passive talent effects, and casts imitations of Talis’ abilities, including talents, at the same point, with the exception of Phase Rush, which casts in the same direction as Talis’ relative to the Projection unless the Projection is targeted by it. If the Psionic Projection is destroyed, Absolute Projection ends immediately, and the Psionic Projection returns to its default state.
(Abilities and talents switch Talis and the Psionic Projection for the relevant triggers in their effects for the Projection.)

Cooldown - 80 seconds.
Cost - None.

R2 Recursive Blast

Talis unleashes a thin wave of psionic force, dealing 400(+4%/level) damage to enemies in the path and propelling her Psionic Projection to the end of its path if it’s caught inside, storing some of the psionic energy. If Talis hit her Psionic Projection with the initial cast of Recursive Blast, it can be recast within 3 seconds to pull the Psionic Projection back to Talis, stunning enemies caught in its path; Otherwise, at the end of the recast window, the Projection unleashes a similar blast at Talis, dealing 50% damage and pushing Talis back to the end of its distance.

Range - 8.0 Units.
Width - 1.25 Units.
Wave Speed - 24 Units/s.
Projection Recall Speed - 12.0 Units/s.
Cooldown - 60 seconds.
Cost - None.

Reward: Upon reaching 100 bonus damage, Talis and her Projections’ hitboxes are considered 50% larger for the purposes of catching Resonating Glaives.

Energy Transfer - When Talis catches her Resonating Glaive, her next basic attack gains +50% attack speed and fires two attacks with a 0.05 second delay. Each basic attack deals 75% damage, but both benefit from any limited-use bonuses Talis has to her basic attacks as though they were the same basic attack.

Solo Performance - Whenever Talis catches one of her Resonating Glaives twice in a row herself, without it being caught by her Psionic Projection, she empowers it, throwing it back out at double speed until it hits an enemy and dealing 50% increased damage until it is caught by Talis or her Projection again.

Tier 2|Level 4

Surging Glaives - Whenever Energetic Surge passes through a Resonating Glaive, it permanently charges it, causing it to deal 20% increased damage and move 20% faster. Resonating Glaives may be charged up to 5 times, stacking up to 100% increased damage and travel speed.

Projected Bolt - Whenever Talis casts an ability, she gains a charge of Projected Bolt, up to two. Each charge of Projected Bolt causes Talis’ next basic attack to fire an additional basic attack from her Psionic Projection at the same target if it’s in range, which deals 50% damage, and consuming a charge of Projected Bolt on successful usage. Stacks last for 10 seconds before dissipating.
