We’re top lane. All the enemy heroes are alive, but we just saw them take a merc camp bot and they’re moving in to attack our fort. I really don’t want my team mates to go defend bot., because we can trade our bot fort for their top keep. The top keep has no gate or towers and has lost some HP because I had been beating Gazlowe like a carpet.
So I ping it and tell my team to push top and trade. (I had just played a game with friends and my team chat was still on. You want to tell your team ahead of time, because once they decide to defend that fort, even if they haven’t reached it yet, they likely won’t change their mind.
It ends up working.
Most of the time the enemy attacks my fort and loses their keep. This time they eventually came back to defend, but it was too late. You have nothing to lose by calling it so you should always try. If your team doesn’t go though, you’ll just get flamed if you go by yourself and they die in a 4 v 5. So you should follow them no matter what they pick.

Oh, and if you wonder why I always say Gazlowe is a weak hero, you can watch the whole game. Againdt a different bruiser I wouldn’t have picked Malthael, which is also on the weak side. That says a lot about Gazlowe.
