Hero Concept Suggestion for Heroes of the Storm

Footman Captain

A strong and sturdy tank with high ability to absorb and reflect spell damages

Basic Abilities

Q) Sword Strike

Footman Strike his sword on his nearby enemy on nearby enemies, deal 173 damage and the slow their movement speed by 30% for 2.25 seconds (8 second cool down and 60 mana cost).

W) Intercept

Charge on chosen location (range=Varian charge) and then get 20% movement speed for 3 seconds, charge distance is reduced by 50% while block is active (10 seconds cool down and 45 mana cost).

E) Spell Reflect

Gain Spell Reflect buff for 5 seconds, absorb 4 kind of spell damages from enemy heroes and return them with 50% of main damage (13 seconds cool down and 80 mana cost).

Trait

D) Block

Active D to gain 35 armor, reduce damage taken by 35% but lose 25% movement speed, can be toggle on or off.
this negative movement speed buff cannot be reduced or defected.

Passive: Footman is permanently prevented of any slow effect, also he cannot get benefit about movement speed buff of his allies.

Heroic Abilities

R1) Knight Champion

Silence and force all nearby enemy heroes to attack Footman for 2.25 seconds (60 seconds cool down and 60 mana cost).
Passive: gain 15% maximum maximum health

R2) A Cry of Rage

Active it to slow all enemy in a width area by 40% for 3.00 seconds, also enemy heroes get effect of a cry of rage, will be disarmed for 2.50 seconds, cannot deal physical damage on this duration (60 seconds cool down and 80 mana cost).

Talents

Level 1 Tier

[The Food]. Regeneration Globes increase Footman Captain health regeneration by 1.5.
Reward: After collect 25 globes, permanently gain 10% movement speed.

[Inter-outer action]. If Intercept casted on allied hero, grant them 25 armor for 3 seconds, reduce damage taken by 25% and if it used on enemy hero, reduce his armor by 10 for 3 seconds, increase target damage taken by 10%.

[Light Armor]. Reduce armor bonus of Block by additional 5 but reduce its movement speed reduction from 25% to 20%.

Level 4 Tier

[The 2nd tactic]. After casting Sword Strike, Footman next basic attack immediately hit, cleave around the target by 125% of main damage.

[Bleed]. Sword Strike also reduce enemy heroes healing received by 60% for 5 seconds.

[Cleave]. Sword Strike dealing 100% more damage if hit at least two enemy heroes.

Level 7 Tier

[Intercept spell breaker]. If Intercept cast on allied hero, grant them 2 stack of Spell Reflect, absorb 2 source of spell damage and return to the enemy with 50% of main damage.

[Line of Glass]. After casting Intercept, create a line of glass in this path for 3 seconds, absorb all spell damage that cross this glass and return to the enemy with 50% of main damage.

[The Knife]. Active to throw a small knife on enemy hero (range=8), dealing damage equal to 15% of target maximum health over 3 seconds and stun him for 0.75 seconds (40 seconds cool down).

Level13 Tier

[Large Sword]. Increase area effect of Sword Strike by 25%, Sword Strike also heal Footman for 200 amount per enemy hero hit.

[Healing Action]. Casting Intercept also heal foot man for 7% of his maximum health, this amount is increased by 100% if he charges on allied hero.

[Infantry Knight]. Footman is healed for 100% of his basic attack damage while he use block.
Passive: Increase basic attack damage by 30%.

Level16 Tier

[Mind of Glass]. For each source of spell damage that reflected with Spell Reflect, Footman Basic abilities cool down is reduced by 1 second maximum 4 seconds.

[Final Action]. After casting Intercept, your next Sword Strike, deal 150% bonus damage over 3 second, if Sword Strike hit at least two enemy heroes, the cool down is reduced by 4 seconds and its mana cost get refused.

[Re-action]. Increase distance of Intercept by 25%. if Intercept hit an ally or enemy hero, the cool down is reduced by 50%.

Level20 Tier

[Champion of the Lordaeron]. After end of Knight Champion, Footman instantly get mount and become invulnerable for 2 seconds, this mount cannot be broken.

[Rallying Cry]. Increase Slow amount of a Cry of Rage by 20% and increase its disarm duration by 1 second.

[Last Stand]. If Footman is below 35% of maximum health, he gains a shield equal to 50% of his maximum health for 6 seconds (60 seconds cool down)

[Heavy Block]. Increase armor bonus of Block by extra 10% but increase its reduction movement speed by extra 5%
