[HC] Prophet Velen

Not 100% happy with how this one turned out but ive been sitting on this one for about 2 months now so im just gonna post it.

Velen is a healer who is willing to sacrifice anything to ensure his teams future.

Trait: last hope (activatable, cd: 90)
After 1 second of meditation, velen infuses an ally with the light, granting them 15% incresed damage and cast a talented halo centered on them every 5 seconds for 10 seconds. Then velen loses access to all his abilities and becomes an untargetable pillar of light for 5 seconds that reduces the damage enmies deal by 8% for 3 seconds, stacking up to 40%. After 5 seconds of being a pillar of light, velen dies.

When velen dies this way he does not grant exp and respawns in 8 seconds.
(The pillar of light can move around just like johannas falling sword would)

Q: Halo (cd: 7s, range: 5.5, mana 35)
Create a ring of light in the target area that slowly expands over 2 seconds, healing each ally it touches by 150. Allies hit by the center of the halo are healed for 225.
Reduces the cooldown of Sanctify by 1 each time halo heals.

Halos size starts as small as trynde lunar flare and ends as large starfall.

W: Sanctity (cd: 24s, range: 7, mana: 65)
create a powerful burst of light in the target area, healing allies hit by 200 and an additional 10% of their missing health.
Velens armor is reduced by 10 for 10 seconds. this can stack.

E: solace (cd: 6s, range: 8, mana: 25)
Fire a beam of light that deals 190 damage to the first enemy hit. If it hits an enemy hero, velen heals for 8% of his maximum health over 10 seconds.
Reduce the cooldown of Sanctify by 2 each time solace hits.

The projectile is very thin and
(About as wide is trynde bird)

R1: barrier of light (cd:70, range:3, mana:60)
Velen infuses an area with the light for up to 45 seconds.
Activate again to create a dome of light for 6 seconds, allies inside the dome gain 90 shields per second that rapidly decays when they leave the area.
The size of the barrier is based on how long you let it lay dormant, reching its max size after 10 seconds.
(Min size is about jaina blizzard size and max size is about malf trenqualuty size)

R2: salvation foretold (cd: 60s, mana: 80)
After going into a meditative state for 2 seconds, Velen casts a powerful spell that reduces his spell power by 15% but, after 15 seconds, heals all allied heroes on the map for 35% of their missing health, and grants them protection for 1.5 seconds.

Talents

Level 1

Grace: solace can hit allys and heals them for 100 when it does. (Hitting an ally does not give velen the heal over time effect)

Prepare for the future: !Quest!
Heal 3 or more allys with halo 30 times
!reward!: increse the size halo expands to by 30% and each ally healed reduces the cooldown of Sanctify by an additional .5 seconds.

In service of others: velen only loses 5 armor when he casts Sanctify if he does not heal him self with it.

Level 4

Light beam: !Quest!
Hit enemy heroes with solace
every 5 enemy heroes, solace can pierce 1 additional unit

Light speed: when velen drops below 50% health or 20% or less armor, gain 30% movement speed for 5 seconds. This effect has a 20 second cooldown

Speedy recovery: healing allys who are below 50% of their maximum health also gives them 15% movement speed for 3 seconds.

Level 7

Ring of peace: Allies within halo when it has fully expanded are healed again for 130

Shine: solace is 50% wider and velen gains 5% spell power for 8 seconds when it hits a hero. Stacking up to 15%.

Reach: halo has 2.5 more range and reduces the cooldown of Sanctify by an additional 1.5 seconds when cast

Level 13

Naarus protection: Sanctify grants velen protected for .75 seconds when when casted.

Salvation: casting Sanctify reduces the cooldown of last hope and your ultimate by 15% when cast

Smite: solace deals 20% more damage and slows enemies hit by 40% for 2 seconds.

Level 16

Miracle worker: (activatable)
Reset the cooldown of velens basic abilities.
Only recharges when velen heals or absorbs 2500 damage with his ultimate or last hope.(the 2500 scales normally)

Light of the naaru: Sanctify heals for an additional 5% of its total healing amount across all allies healed to each ally healed but velen loses an additional 1 armor per ally healed.

Purify: (activatable, cd: 30 sec)
Reset the cooldown of halo and the center of your next halo grants unstoppable for 1 second and heals for 20% more when it removes a control imparting effect.

Level 20
Words of power: when velen heals or absorbs 2500 damage with his ultimate or last hope, he and all nearby allies gain 15% increased damage and heal for 300 over 3 seconds. (the 2500 scales normally)

Prayer of mending: (activatable, cd:60, range 5.5)
Bless an ally for 3 seconds. If that ally takes 400 damage in that time then a talented halo is cast on their location and prayer of mending is cast for free on another nearby ally. (The 400 scales normally)

Final sacrifice: last hopes pillar of light lasts 3 seconds longer and area is increased by 50% and deals 150 damage per second to enemies and heals allies by 175 per second.

This is really cool, though I think the trait it too complex IMO, there’s just so many variables than normally traits should be, should be simplified, that’s my only criticism on this concept.

And yeah, your right. It probably dosent need its free halo casts. I still like the idea behind his trait but it should have been something thats better siuted to ending fights.
