[HC] Madam Goya, Leader of the Black Market

Hello everyone! I’ve just recently put this concept together. It’s what my idea was for the CDC#7, but since I’m judging in it, I can’t participate. HeroesFire link is below if you want to check it out there; otherwise, the concept is posted here in its entirety.

https://www.heroesfire.com/hots/concept/madam-goya-10340

The mastermind behind Pandaria’s Black Market, Madam Goya is a cunning trader who has since expanded her business throughout Azeroth and even into Draenor. Though she’s not particularly apt to fighting, she is a master of manipulation and information, sabotaging her enemies with impunity. Since she was intended for the CDC#7, I built Madam Goya around the game changing mechanic of a “neutral” hero who affects the battlefield more indirectly. Of course, that on its own offers no counterplay for enemies (even Abathur can be killed) and leaves her team down a body, so she is accompanied by her bodyguard, Mister Chu, who is rather weak but provides experience soaking and a body in fights.

Some other notes, this concept isn’t necessarily in the place I want it to be because I was rather busy over the CDC week 1. The 2nd heroic especially I’m not happy with.

Class: Warcraft Support/Specialist

Statistics (Mister Chu) :
Health: 1,720 (+4% per level)
Regen: 4.08 (+4% per level)
Atk Speed: 1.41 per second
Damage: 58 (+4% per level)

Trait: Black Market Relations
Madam Goya herself is impossible to target, being incapable of taking damage, dying, being healed, or being affected by crowd control. As a result, she has neither Health nor a basic attack. She also cannot soak experience or participate in objectives, including channeling or taking mercenary camps. Works like Leoric’s Undying form.

Mister Chu is controllable in addition to Madam Goya at all times, similar to the Lost Vikings. He functions as a normal hero body, being able to soak experience and participate in objectives. Mister Chu awards 0.5 takedowns when he dies and he respawns 50% faster, but he will not respawn until Madam Goya returns to her team’s Nexus. Additionally, Madam Goya’s abilities have additional effects when she is near Mister Chu (about his vision range) .

Finally, Madam Goya and Mister Chu are able to generate Black Market Coins through various means, which are used to bribe Mercenaries. Mister Chu generates 1 Coin for each minion death near him, and Madam Goya’s abilities can generate more. Up to 200 Coins can be held at once.

Active:
Cooldown: N/A

Madam Goya spends 25 Coins to bribe a target Mercenary, instantly defeating it. Does not work on bosses. Note that Goya cannot capture the camp after it is defeated; either her teammate or Mister Chu must be present.

Q: Lotus Agent
Cooldown: 7 seconds

Madam Goya orders an agent to a target location after a 3 second delay. The agent is visible during the delay, but becomes invisible to the enemy team afterward. Once active, the Lotus Agent provides vision in a medium area around them, and Madam Goya can active Lotus Strike on them to have them attack.

Lotus Agent lasts indefinitely, and up to 3 agents can be active at any time. Note that they are not summoned minions, so they cannot be attacked.

If cast in range of Mister Chu, Lotus Agent has no delay.

W: Turncoat
Cooldown: 9 seconds

Madam Goya bribes a target enemy hero, reducing their damage and healing output by 100% for 1.5 seconds.

For every 120 (+4% per level) damage and/or healing prevented by Turncoat, Madam Goya generates 1 Coin.

If cast in range of Mister Chu, he charges into melee range of the target hero and deals damage to them equal to 35% of the damage and healing prevented by Turncoat.

E: Blackmail
Cooldown: 5 seconds

Madam Goya frames a target enemy hero, Slowing their movement speed by 5% and reducing their Armor by 2. Blackmailstacks up to 5 times and has an indefinite duration, but all stacks expire when the affected enemy is not visible to Madam Goya’s team.

If an enemy hero dies while affected by Blackmail, Madam Goya generates 5 Coins per stack of Blackmail they were affected by.

If cast in range of Mister Chu, he will perform a leaping kick on the target hero, dealing 44 (+4% per level) damage and doubling Blackmail’s Slow, decaying back to the normal amount over 1.5 seconds.

1: Lotus Strike
Cooldown: N/A

Madam Goya orders an active Lotus Agent to strike in a target direction, dealing 198 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies in their path before disappearing. Uses vector targeting from an active agent.

R1: Abduction
Cooldown: 60 seconds

Madam Goya orders a group of specialists to kidnap a target enemy hero after a 1.5 second channel, putting them in Stasis for 4 seconds. During Abduction, the victim is moved toward Mister Chu at walking speed. If they reach him, the Stasis ends early, they take 234 (+4% per level) damage, and are Stunned for 0.75 seconds.

Abduction fails and is set to a 5 second cooldown if the target becomes out of range during the channel.

R2: Double Agent
Cooldown: 60 seconds

Madam Goya extorts a target enemy hero after a 1.5 second channel, forcing them to work with her team for 6 seconds. During this time, they lose control of their hero and basic attack their nearest ally (prioritizing heroes) . Additionally, Madam Goya’s team cannot damage the Double Agent, but their former team can, and when the victim takes a total of 382 (+4% per level) damage, Double Agent’s effects end early.

Double Agent fails and is set to a 5 second cooldown if the target becomes out of range during the channel.

Z: No Mount
Neither Madam Goya nor Mister Chu can use a mount. Instead, they passively receive 10% increased movement speed when there have been no enemies in range of them for 3 seconds.

Pretty interesting concept here! I do love the idea of true mind control ability with R2 but I think that for current state of the game, this character would be too complicated to implement.
Still, it’s fun to imagine 3 hidden agents near each other finishing running target from stealth. Not to the runner though
