How and why was the Halloween event over two weeks before Halloween?

Yeah yeah I know it not a “Halloween” event but come on, pumpkins and witch costumes with tombstone mounts… It’s a Halloween event. Don’t end it with little to no notice and two weeks before Halloween…

You said it yourself, it was not a Halloween event. You knew this, and were still surprised when it ended at the normal duration for events. None of the seasonal events have lasted the 5+ weeks it would have needed to be to last until Halloween (for no reason).

They announced the dates at the start of the event. The time remaining was also on the quests. Plenty of people knew the fall event was ending this morning.

i guess you didn’t catch the sarcasm. It was certainly a Halloween event. You couldn’t have this event in February… Once you complete the event there was no indication that it was ending… I would have like to buy more Halloween loot chests and things.

If there was no indication it was ending explain why i made sure to finish the quests vs ai on my other account late last night?

You shouldnt have to have an alt account to determine things that should be obvious from your main account.

Additionally blizzard has indicated on their “wonderful” battle.net app thats always running when events end…no indication this time…

I agree with you Apple. I would gladly hand Blizzard my money if they would let me buy more Halloween costumes as Halloween approaches.

It’s good to know that wasn’t the Halloween event- so when does the Halloween event start? I’m looking forward to it.
