What exactly did she lose? Youre being very vague. Its hard to debate vague claims.
She’s considered A tier now. Ive picked her alot in diamond games. Sami used her to get to masters. Her winrate is fine.

I could care less about turrets, even lazer. I went slow turrets level 7 anyway. That allowed Gaz to push lanes and run a bit.
Gaz’s explod/grav is what kills this, that is precisely what made Gaz a late game asset. If anyone was stupid enough to cluster together, they got owned badly, fast.
As for lane clearance, it takes like lazer + explod + turrets now to kill a wave, as opposed to explod + lazer!
I can understand if Gaz was considered OP and they nerfed him, but was this supposed to improve him?

She lost her Withering Fire build, Withering Fire was completely reworked into a channeled-like ability. Before you could choose when to fire each shot of Withering Fire and thus, get much better damage out of each shot.
Additionally, most of her Withering Fire talents were reworked too; and not for the better.
Syl isn’t bad - but she lost a lot. Now she can basically go Dagger build and that’s about it, something she could do beforehand too.
The one thing that changed for the better is the minion exploding trait doesn’t compete with much anymore.
Her q build is her best build though!
Also w is a trap build in most cases! Especially the talent at 4. What rank are you playing sylvanas at?
Gazno was terrible in general. I wish he was a late game hero. His kit with turrets should’ve been an early game lane bully instead of late game if he was late game

Well give it some time. What might’ve worked for you was cringe for others. Old Gazlowe was the same tier pick as Murky and people begged for you not to pick him or they throw the game. He might not be able to solo a fort as quick or bully a lane with turrets but his wave clear is still fantastic.
I can see Gazlowe down the track as being as a viable fill in as a bruiser or melee pick providing you got the standard draft locked in. He’s not one dimensional anymore where he can only spec into turrets. They lowered his turret power in favor of him jumping into the teamfight right away, and the longer the teamfight goes, the more he can set up and be even more of a threat as opposed to old Gaz needing there to set up.
I’ve always seen him as a potential bruiser, however my only gripe with the Devs is taking his regen quest (that one was huge and you won’t see a hp regen benefit that big anymore) and the armor bonus for his robomech.
To be very, very direct, I really don’t care about your opinion on my takes.
Factually; Syl lost a lot in her rework. Almost all of it was related to Withering Fire which gutted Withering Fire builds.
For example, previously you could duel an enemy team with a 1 range margin for error and deal intense damage doing it - but one mistake and you died.
Q build being good has no bearing on what she lost.

Tassadar is a kick butt dps now. Gazlowe is just pure crap now.

He was already bad. He was close to dva tier and tied with nova/gazno tier
No, he got more HP since he lost a lot of defensive from Robo. Nice try, but no. Gazlowe is trash now. At least new Tassadar is amazing dps.

Gotta read what I typed better, that’s why I said he’s now THICC, lol. That’s his only compensation. Oh and he no longer uses mana…I guess that’s a boon?
Gaz was the only reason I still played. He had a unique and fun playstyle where he could be more of strategic character and put out the damage late game (Just had to get there). I’ve already uninstalled, bye HOTS.

He was very good at countering a hero that has now popped-up like the plague.
am i the only one who was really good at landing the ol’ explodium + gravo bomb wombo combo (the OG wombo combo). old gaz will be missed.
