Game keeps crashing on a loading screen

I downloaded HotS yesterday and i can’t get into a game as it crashes everytime on the loading screen with this report ID: 0CE8546F-02CF-4B0D-B6CF-57A44D569CFF

Hey there,

Looked at the crash logs for this one but it’s not crystal clear what is causing the crash. I have a few ideas you can try though:

  1. Try reinstalling the game on the C: drive if you have room there. Since it’s installed on a secondary drive currently we want to rule out a permissions issue or something of that sort.
  2. Reset the game settings through the Battle.net app
  3. Try disabling sound if you’re using a DAC or USB sound card, or switch the default sound playback device to onboard sound to see if that works.
