I’ve tried everything, but I cannot even get to the game menus anymore. Last time I tried, a couple months ago, sometimes I could manage to play a match (and it would run just fine), but it randomly closed whenever it felt like it, sometime before I started the next match. I decided to try the game again today, but it closes before it even gets to the menus. =(

One issue I noticed is that the DxDiag is only showing the AMD graphics while there are Nvidia errors showing. If you have a Nvidia graphics card, update those drivers and make sure the monitor is plugged into the Nvidia card.
It may also be helpful to update the AMD drivers even if you aren’t using them.

Thanks for pointing out the Nvidia errors, I hadn’t noticed I still had some old drivers from a previous Nvidia card from a couple months ago, I’m currently using an AMD Ryzen 5600G with its integrated graphics alone.
I imedially removed all Nvidia old drivers and I was sure I could play Heroes now without any errors, but nothings changed, sadly… The game is still closing not more than 1 minute after I open it.

It looks like the AMD driver is an older version than the one I linked previously. Let’s try a clean driver reinstall.
First, remove the current driver files by using the third party driver remover DDU. You can find a guide on using this program here.
After this, pick up the latest driver from here. Then reset the game settings to set everything back to default.
