The game is periodically interrupted. It is shown both during the match and outside of it.
Many tests show that the gap occurs between the provider’s router and the router Blizzard mskix.blizzard.com (this is an IPv6 address) . Parallel ping of the same “search”.com has shown this more than once.
I did everything that the official forum members write on the forum. The provider, for its part, and together with me, conducted tests on the results of which no problems were detected.

  1. Tool https://us-looking-glass.battle.net/ does not work for Europe (more precisely, there is always no echo)
  2. I will not give the ping and Trace logs here they duplicate point 3 in fact

Hey, Max! Firstly, thank you for the WinMTR tests. It does indeed look like there’s a problem with the Blizzard MSK-IX Moscow node. At this moment, there are no known issues with this node specifically. This doesn’t mean there isn’t an issue, but we just don’t have enough data to support it yet.

I did do a bit of digging to see what we could find that our team is aware of. There is currently a ticket in about excessive lag and long loading times in EU Heroes. It didn’t call out the MSK-IX node specifically since peering isn’t what our team normally looks for, but based on the situation, I assume this is the core cause of the issue.

Thank you for reporting this over! If you know of anyone who is experiencing the same issues, please send them over to this thread with the WinMTR test as well! While it seems that our network team is aware, we can see if the issue can be escalated once we have enough data.

For anyone else experiencing this issue and in the EU region, please include a WinMTR test. Run the test until the problem occurs for 10 to 15 minutes. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:

Thank you, Max, for being proactive! We haven’t seen this consistently reported yet either on our end for the MSK-IX node, but the issues I mentioned before are still something our team is looking into. If there’s any changes in those statuses, I’ll let you know to give it a retest :slight_smile:

Thank you, Aitles! We’re still monitoring, but it looks pretty similar to Max’s WinMTR test like there might be some mitigation happening and may not be configured properly. We still need more data on this, so feel free to send anyone you know that may be experiencing similar issues over to us as well so we can get proper tracking up for this :slight_smile:
