seriously i saved up a certain amount of gold to buy deathwing and stukov and he comes out 20k whyyy, wasnt new heroes 15k and then they go down to 10k after 2 weeks… why is deathwing any different thats a dumb price blizz i might not even pick him up now. dumb price fix pls

My guess is the higher price isn’t for DW specifically, but rather he’s only the first one, and they increased the price because with the lower release schedule it would be too easy to save enough gold between releases, even for casual-ish players.
But that’s just my guess, which could be wrong (as my guesses have usually been, in the past :P)

Let’s not lie to ourselves. You will, even if you’re pissed and don’t have enough gold now. Sooner or later you’ll buy him, probably within the next 2 months at most.
I’d imagine they would put an explicit mention of this in the patch notes, but it’s also entirely plausible even if they didn’t.
