This one was for the NA server, I tried both EU and NA . Results are same also Hots is the only game I have this problem I have tried games such as LoL and Dota but there were no issues.

Note: I put spaces between dots and nets because It wouldn’t let me create otherwise

ok, well that is why it is high on that one. i get somewhat similar pings when i play on EU from NA. its because it is such a long distance. i think my lowest is typically around 120-150ms.

vs.

when i play my native server on the NA i get around 40ms pings.

you will need to run WinMTR to your normal server. when you open WinMTR go into the options and click ‘resolve names’. this will help you post it easier since the forum doesnt like links.

let the WinMTR run while you play a game and have ping issues.

then export the information to a text file and paste it here.

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

ok ,

this is your router.

this number indicates 1% packet loss. you have packet loss continuing all the way down the MTR to the destination. so the first thing to do is figure out why you have packet loss on your side.

if you are using wireless try connecting through wired and retest. often times wireless can be unstable depending on walls and other appliances around it.

I’ using cable to connect already so it can’t be the issue. What could have caused that packet loss other than wireless connection, im not very good at these things, should I call my internet provider? Also I saw a 20 days old post about the same issue I have and some tech support said that there was a routing issue and VPN could help so I don’t know what to do rn

with it showing as 1% on your router the steps to take would be…

  1. powercycle all your equipment first.
    – unplug the modem and router from power for 60 seconds.
    – then plug them back in.
  2. if powercycling your equipment does not help then try one of the VPN. there are several gaming VPN services that have a free trial for a few days and that should tell you if it will help.

… personally i dont think the VPN will help, but if you find one that has a free trial its worth trying anyway. i think you probably will have to call your network provider if powercycling doesnt work.

Okey I’ll try those, thanks for the help ^^
