chest opening animation is too risky for people who are prone to epileptic seizures. An this is not only for tired eyes, right from the beginning it hurts. I am sure there are safer ways to convey that excitement emotion with a different design.

I do not know of any setting changes ingame that can be made to assist with opening chests specifically. Perhaps, dropping the graphical settings may help.
