Are you a Valla or a Samuro?

I’ve noticed that there are usually two kinds of HotS player. The Valla who hyoerfocuses on one thing, while the Samuro who excels at micro-managing a lot of moving parts at the same time.

I personally am a Valla; horrible at Samuro, Vikings, Rexxar, and RTS games, haha, but good at Sylvanas, Valla, and games like World of Warcraft where there is only one me I have to deal with.

I assume the absolute best HotS players are good at both, but what is everyone else good at?

I am a Samuro

I can calculate exactly when to do camps, when to push a lane out, which heroes need to group/split, when to use cooldowns, etc. And being able to be in a lot of places at once helps with it.
But I’ll straight up miss skillshots on a hero who is standing completely still.

Depends mostly on the hero im playing.
i turn out with most siege damage being a Ming Player,
i guess im mid way. trying to time camps and out pushing lanes when the rest of my teams brawl like barbarians

I’m better at Samuro, but enjoy Valla more.

definitely valla

i admire samuro/viking players who keep track of 3 things at once while actually accomplishing useful things

i can barely keep track of 1 hero properly

Answer to OP’s question:

I am mostly a Valla.

The only times I become a Samuro is when I have the tilt and when I play with my duo who seem to have forgot on some things in playing the game lol.

i’m Valla but Samuro in the same time. i keep track on everything not a single thing! my eyes are everywhere.

By the definition in the OP, I am probably more of a Samuro, not because I can keep track of multiple units (I am terrible in RTS, even though I really enjoy them), but I usually play a tank or solo lane. Because of this, I am used to watching the mini-map, calling out rotations, keeping an eye on my healer, peeling for my team mates, checking bushes, and so forth.

I mean this is a tough one, because i am deffinatly both, yet i am 100% valla.

So the math just doesn’t add up.

The Manticore talent does wonders on beefy targets.

That match is a perfect storm for Valla. Easy way to finish your level 4 Creed quest when you can just AA the dragon knight from behind the tower.

Oddly, I’m more Samuro when a bit drunk or otherwise super chill. The rest of the time I’m more Valla.

Abathur highest level he’s the king of map awareness, TLV mastered I love to micro them hard in one lane, Nova mastered she’s one of the most single purpose heroes in the game.

I’m clearly Abathur.
I can clone and be anyone.
