About Anduin - Theorycrafting

I doubt that but we’ll see.

Maybe he pushes Tyrande out a bit from the meta, but if he enters the meta, we’ll see more dive comps.

I don’t think he can counter WP-wombos. It has a windup time and he needs to channel it. Which can be countered by Tyrande btw so who counters who?

Well a lot of what makes vp + ring so scary is the follow-up. Which is what anduin blocks best. Jaina can’t delete the Frontline if anduin is protecting them at the back.

Tyrande (E) and diablo (Apoc) are the biggest threats to this strategy so if anduin is your wombo counter you’ll need to ban them or play around that

People who played open division/division S are already talking and theorycrafting comps with him in Kala’s discord for the heroes hype tournament and they said he is pretty much busted in coordinated level.

So far, he’s my two favorite things: Dive enabling and dive countering.

I don’t doubt that, he’s new, but will receive nerfs and! I doubt he can push out Tyrande and Ana from the meta. Not sure about Malf either.

Uther was and STILL is anti-burst healer with high tankiness. Anduin… not so tanky at all. Hammer of Justice is a much stronger CC as well.

Uther’s mana issue atm is pretty much that it’s tied into his lvl 1 talent, AND they are all questing talents from when BLizz was going all quest-crazy. So blizz balanced Uther’s mana costs around those quests, which means that outside of them, his mana returns suck (Though with them, his mana returns are solid)

I doubt the nerfs will make him a normal hero. I bet his winrate will be low overall but broken OP at the highest level/coordinated/competitive. Blizzard is definitely not balancing based on that which is really sad and kinda scary.

Debateable, HoJ is barely longer than melee range.

And Uther will quite often be in melee range (Especially if you go his melee builds). He has the health and tankiness that he can dip in and out of melee range, both to hopefully split damage, and to use HoJ to either peel, disrupt, or lockdown.

As someone who was a long time Uther main (and made it to Master League playing him) all the way back to beta, I can tell you that purposefully putting yourself in melee range just to stun is detrimental to your survival and your team.

The classic example of someone who is new to Uther is the person who stands frontline next to the tank just so they can initiate.

I’m not new to Uther or to the game and play at master lvl but I’m in the frontline as him still, works fine for me, being aggressive as him

I note that you said was - Have you played Uther since his rework?

Since his Q always self-heals, you’ll want to get value from both that Q heal AND trait. Walking in to stun a target or eating a skill-shot, and then going back to the frontline helps to maximize that, thus gaining the most efficiency for your Q. Sure, you don’t want to stay in the frontline unless you are going a very specific build (Which kicks in late-game), but weaving in and out?
